Emblema Genesis
"Genesis" (ジェネシス Jeneshisu) es un clan de la nación de United Sanctuary introducido en el Booster Set 10: Retorno Triunfal del Rey de los Caballeros. En el lore, el CEO a cargo de este clan es Cosmic Regalia, CEO Yggdrasil, un antiguo miembro de Neo Nectar. Como el clan también es un conglomerado centrado en los negocios, tienen muchos departamentos diferentes, como investigación de tecnología antigua, seguridad, y magia ofensiva. En los eventos de la serie Cardfight!! Vanguard G, una bestia hermosa buscó el poder para sí mismo, ayudando a iniciar una revolución, y más tarde ayudando a llevar la destrucción al Planeta Cray. Tras el fallido intento de destruir Cray, la bella bestia fue encarcelada, y una joven diosa fue elegida para ayudarlo a el después.

¿Qué es Genesis? (Carta del día, 31 de julio de 2015)
Es un conglomerado establecido durante el periodo de la Gran Guerra de Invasión, cuando el planeta Cray se vio amenazado por los invasores de otro mundo. Su creación fue respaldada no solo por la nación sagrada "United Sanctuary", sino también por muchas otras naciones de todo el mundo. Tras la Gran Guerra de Invasión, se convirtió en una empresa independiente y ha ido creciendo en el negocio de la seguridad y el combate.
Estilo de juego[]
Génesis se centra en hacer soul charging y soul blasting, un estilo de juego que difiere de otros clanes en United Sanctuary. Como soul blasting es una mecánica de coste, sus efectos se consideran "multiusos", como cartas de llamadas superiores cuando se les aplica soul blasted, robar cartas, devolver cartas al deck cuando se les aplica soul blasted, y incluso concederle grandes cantidades de poder a sus unidades. Su keyword Revelation otorgaba al clan la capacidad de mirar la carta del tope del deck, y decidir si querían poner esa carta en su soul, o dejarla en el tope del deck, lo que daba al jugador cierto control sobre los efectos del soul charging normalmente aleatorios. (Nota: Poner una carta en el soul de esta manera no se considera Soul Charging.) Soul Blasting suele reservarse para el vanguard, mientras que la retaguardia es la principal fuente de soul charging.
Las Witches son el grupo más orientado al campo de batalla, usando sus soul blasts para hacer llamadas superiores a cartas con soul-blasted a los círculos de retaguardia, a la vez que potencian a sus unidades, otorgándoles fuerte ataque extra.
Regalia, sin embargo, tiene un estilo de juego más centrado en la vanguard, como aumentar el poder del vanguard cuando se pone una carta en el soul, hacer restanding al vanguard después de atacar, o conceder al vanguard la capacidad de evitar que el oponente llame a ciertas cartas de su mano al guardian circle.
Aunque se trata de un grupo más pequeño, los Myth Guards también tienen un estilo de juego único, ya que necesitan copias de sí mismos en el soul para obtener power.
