This talented mage has been studying for the fusion of magic and science. His research is about evil magic, forbidden arts and cursed items, which he is not permitted to study as a researcher of the capital. Yet, he persists to study their applications in war. He dislikes troubles more than anyone, and he would disappear as soon as he foresees irritating cases.
The Morning of the Great Mage
"Awuuu..."
"Badhabh Caar" was yawning in his dim underground laboratory. Not something surprising, for he hadn't slept for three days.
"Mage! Hav' you complet'd da thin' I order'd!?"
With a sound of the door getting blown away and an even louder voice, a huge man of blackness entered the room.
"Mac Lir, can you not break the door every time you come, y'know?"
"Hahaha! No problem, I'll fix it befor' I return, jus' as usual!"
"The fittings can be fixed, but the door itself hurts, y'know."
Turning his head to release the tension, Badhabh Caar showed the thing to Mac Lir.
"Wow! That's da new Shield Core!"
"It's something dangerous, though, imbued with magic quite wild, I say. Some arts we call heretical."
"I dun mind it being heretical or blasphemous! I had thrown away da heart that'd hesitate using thes' thin's long ago!"
"Just don't do too much in front of the holy knights, y'know. Those stone-headed guys'd become quite noisy about that."
"Humph, Roger!"
After speaking to Mac Lir, Badhabh Cahr lied on the chair without any sign of tidying up the mess of his research, and began doing some stuff.
"Thanks, mage!"
"I know, I know. Counting on you to leave quietly."
"Oh, by the way, don't simply call me 'Mage' next time, that sounds boring. Call me something greater, cooler. Hmm, right--- just call me 'Great Mage'."
