It is a semi-versatile Battleroid manufactured in later stages of Raizer Series's development. It was originally an innovative mecha manufactured decades ago using "Raizantou", a weapon that resembles katana, as its main weapon. However, the technology of that time relied on beam armaments and could not create mechas able to express the merits of using formed weapon. Thus, its development was terminated and it has slumbered in the warehouse until now. Its hidden potential and innovative idea of designation are finally noticed by the development team of Raizers, which becomes an enormous team of a certain coorparation now. The development team renovated this mecha with modern technologies and make it truly a Raizer, and the result is this "Masuraoraizer", formally known as "Melee Combat Specialized Experimental Raizer Custom". Its melee combat ability is beyond praise, but the production cost of its main weapon "Raizantou Aratame" is very costly, comparable to the manufacturing cost of its whole body, which is a bottleneck of its production. Unless this problem can be solved, it would be difficult to mass-produce this mecha.
What is the Raizer Series?
The main concept of the "Raizer" Battleroids and their successors is versatility, so it can by driven by any pilot. The first time they were introduced for live combat was with the BR1-0021, commonly known as "Battleraizer", which has had many successive models. But this flexibility which was an initial concept was removed in the second half of development, as more highly efficient builds were manufactured, resulting in many custom-made vehicles constantly participating in the Nova Grappler league.
