Card Rulings:Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze

• This card's second effect prevents the parts of any effects that would apply to any unit on the Gyze player’s field. The rest of the effects would still work normally, if possible. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Retiring
  • Locking
  • Resting
  • Moving to any other zone
  • Deleting
  • Dominating
  • Damage
    • By effect only and yes, Gyze cannot damage another Gyze by its effect
  • Trigger effects
    • The only trigger effects that would activate are the draw and heal parts of their respective triggers
• This prevents calls and rides of any kind, including superior calls and calls forced upon the Gyze player by their opponent.
  • However, this does not affect placement, as that is not a call. Look for the lack of the word “call” in the effect. An example of this is Death Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Deluge.
