- Combine this card with Emperor Dragon, Gaia Emperor's Stride Bonus so that you can reuse its skill. Also, with the same Stride Bonus, you can use this card to more easily meet the "5 rear guard" condition of Absolute Ruler, Gluttony Dogma's skill.
- If you are using this card as a Starting Vanguard, putting another copy into the deck can prove to be useful, especially since this card can be an easy target for your opponent's retiring skills.
- Using its skill to Superior Call Ancient Dragon, Geoconda can replenish some much needed Counterblasts. However, it is limited in that it uses up quite a bit of soul, a resource that is very valuable in most Tachikaze builds.
- Using its skill to Superior Call Ancient Dragon, Tyrannoblaze can activate Limit Break 4, which is very valuable in many decks, such as Spino and other various Ancient Dragon builds.
- Using its skill to Superior Call Cold Dragon, Freezernyx and subsequently using it as retire fodder can cancel the cost of this card's skill, as well as replenish the Soul to use for more attacks.
