Cardfight!! Vanguard Wiki
  • When using this card's effect, you shouldn't always bounce your opponent's entire field, as sometimes you can risk allowing your opponent to reuse a powerful On-Place effect. In that case it might be better to leave that rear-guard and bounce the rest.
    • On the other hand, this card also allows you to reuse your own On-Place effects.
  • Ride Shura Stealth Dragon, Jamyocongo first to reduce your opponent's hand to 6 or 4 (preferrably 4 if you manage to soulcharge a Grade 3), then ride "Hanzo" to wipe your opponent's field. This will leave the opponent with an empty field and a small hand, adding the opponent needing to guard your attacks will make it very difficult for them to make a comeback on their next turn.
    • Since "Hanzo" needs your opponent to have a Grade 3 Vanguard to use the discard effect, riding a different Grade 3 when you go first followed by "Hanzo" on the next turn can be more effecient.
    • Alternatively, you can leave one rear-guard on your opponent's field after using "Hanzo"'s effect then use Stealth Beast, Kokushigarasu to completely cripple your opponent's resources. Keep in mind you will likely need a large amount of soul and two Sentinels to do this.
  • Use Evil Stealth Dragon, Zangetsu to call two Evil Decoy Tokens then call Stealth Rogue of the Night, Sakurafubuki to Counter Charge, then you can bounce the Sakurafubuki with Hanzo's effect so that you can call it and Counter Charge again effectively making both Hanzo's effect free that turn while leaving more Counterblast to call more Tokens with Zangetsu.
  • You can continously use this card's effect each turn for essentially free with the following setup:
    1. Use Evil Stealth Dragon, Kurogiri's effect to call two Evil Decoy Tokens.
    2. Call two Momentary Stealth Rogue, Tsunamasa to RC, each of them will give "Hanzo" +3000 Power and Soul Charge, refueling the soul that was spent for "Kurogiri"'s effect.
    3. Use "Hanzo"'s effect retiring the two "Evil Decoy Tokens" for the cost, which will return the two "Tsunamasa" to your hand without consuming any additional soul.
    4. As long as both "Tsunamasa" and "Kurogiri" remain in your hand, you can repeat this process every turn.
