Possible targets for this unit's skill are:
- Any Narukami with the Lord skill. Removing this [CONT] skill with Koh Koh's skill allows the unit that had Lord to attack even if you have a unit from a different clan on the field. This can be useful if you want to splash units from other clans in your Narukami deck.
- Brightlance Dragoon's skill, allowing it to swing for 10k or more if you do not have another Narukami in the same column.
- Exorcist Demonic Dragon, Indigo's skill, allowing it to boost any unit for 9k.
- Thunder Spear Wielding Exorcist Knight's Restraint, if you want to preserve Counterblasts or in case you do not have a Narukami Vanguard.
- Deity Sealing Kid, Soh Koh's [CONT] skills, either removing Restraint so Soh Koh can attack, or its other [CONT] skill, allowing it to boost your Rearguards for 6k.
- Dungaree's skill, allowing it to attack for 11k even when you don't have any units in your Bind zone.
- Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion's skill, allowing it to attack for 11k even when you have a non-Narukami Vanguard or Rearguard.
- Djinn of the Lightning Spark/Djinn of the Lightning Flare/Djinn of the Lightning Flash' skill, allowing them to attack your opponent's Rearguards.
Units with similar skills are: Exorcist Mage, Lin Lin (stand trigger) and Exorcist Mage, Roh Roh. This unit can be preferred over those two because its skill is [ACT], allowing it to remove multiple [CONT] skills on one turn. This unit can be used as a starter and as such, will only take up one spot in your deck and only one (RC) on your field, whereas the other two can only remove one [CONT] skill when they're called and calling a 10k shield (Exorcist Mage, Lin Lin) to (RC) may not always be the best choice. Downside to using this unit over Lin Lin and Roh Roh is that this unit's skill requires soulblasts.
