- Playing Gattling Claw Dragon allows to put it in soul and retire a grade 0 rearguard at same time, this will allow you to use Flame of Promise's soulblast.
- Playing Demonic Dragon Mage, Kimnara allows you to put it in soul and retire a grade 1 or less rearguard at the same time, this will allow to use Flame of Promise, Aermo's soulblast.
- If your vanguard is Dragonic Overlord the End, it is advisable not to soulblast the only Dragonic Overlord as it will lower The End's power.
- Because its power is rather low, it is advisable not to play this unless you already have a reasonable soul count or a reliable engine to fill it.
- If it looks like you won't be able to keep its effect going, it may be better to use a different Unit for boost, and keep this one for the Shield.
