Card Trivia:Lawless Mutant Deity, Obtirandus

• This card is based off of the "Mesotopus Tarandus" species, a stag beetle from the monotypic taxon "Mesotopus". They are found in Western Africa, and the biggest and heaviest stag beetles found in the region. Their mandibles are especially strong and resistant due to the curved shape. They are known for their deep and shiny black color, and are able to emit sound vibrations in their head and thorax when angered. They are a very difficult insect to breed, and require an environment where sawdust and Lingzhi mushrooms (a mushroom originating in Japan) coexist.
• This is the first card whose ability prevents the opponent to call rear-guards due to any known method.
