Cardfight!! Vanguard Wiki
  • This card is likely a reference to a femme fatale, a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. Her ability to entrance and hypnotise her victim with a spell was seen as being literally supernatural; hence, the femme fatale today is still often described as having a power akin to an enchantress, seductress, vampire, witch, or demon, having power over men.
  • This card could also be a reference to Queen of Elphame from Roman mythology, the goddess of the hunt, the moon and birthing. She was also equated with Hecate, just as the Diana, a likely reference for Fianna, was equated to the Greek goddess Artemis, with both Artemis and Hecate being regarded as the goddess of light.
  • Interestingly, Hecate and Artemis were both also associated with Trivia, the goddess who "haunted crossroads, graveyards, and was the goddess of sorcery and witchcraft".
