"Cardfight!! Vanguard Gaiden: Shining Swordsman" (カードファイト！！ヴァンガード外伝 光の剣士 Kādofaito!! Vangādo Gaiden Hikari no Kenshi) is a side-story manga featuring the units from Cardfight!! Vanguard, originally published from Monthly Bushiroad 1st issue. Being overseen by Akira Ito and illustrated by Makoto Koshimizu.
Basic Summary
The story focuses around the Royal Paladin units, and the first arc that started alongside this game. With a shadow approaching United Sanctuary, the proud swordsmen will be able to protect the kingdom!?
After the story had concluded, an epilogue subtitled as "SHINE OF SHADOW" was published, which focuses around the Shadow Paladin units.
