"Cardfight!! Vanguard Shooting Star" (カードファイト!! ヴァンガード SSシューティングスター Kādofaito!! Vangādo Shūtingusutā) is a manga drawn and written by Haruha Mitsukoshi, which was published in the Monthly Bushiroad magazine for 3 issues. It is the winner of the "Vanguard Manga Award" for 3rd anniversary of the magazine. It was later adapted into chapter 1 of Another Vanguard: Star Road Asuka in its volume release.

Basic Summary

Asuka Matsumoto is an ordinary school girl. She is the manager of the card shop "Shooting Star" while her father, Yamato Matsumoto, is missing. There, one of the twelve tyrants of the card gang "Crown" appeared in order to get the secret of Yamato's strength― a fervent story for the king's road.
