Trivia[]

The crest zone's location on playmats

The crest zone's location on playmats

  • In Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days, the crest zone is located next to the trigger zone on the right side, while on official playmats starting from DZ Quick Start Deck 01: Dragon Empire~DZ Quick Start Deck 06: Lyrical Monasterio it is located above the crest zone, and is not present in any prior playmat.
  • All crests have the D-icon icon, even though some of the crest generators are not legal in the D-icon Standard format. However, since crests do not go in the deck, the icon printed on them is irrelevant.
  • Even though crests are not part of any clan or nation, crests that are legal in the D-icon Standard format have accent colors that match the color of its generator's nation, and if generated by an encounter card also feature white text on a black background. Crests that are only legal in the Premium format have accent colors that match the color of the generator's clan as seen in Cardfight!! Vanguard ZERO.
