"Dark Device" (暗あん躍やく An'yaku) is a keyword exclusive to the Megacolony clan, and introduced in G Technical Booster 2: The GENIUS STRATEGY.

How it Works

A "Dark Device" ability remains active and can only be used, as long as your opponent has no units in [Stand] state in the same column as your unit possessing it. It is also active even if your opponent has zero units in the same column.
