Darkface (ダークフェイス Dākufeisu) is a character in Cardfight!! Vanguard G, introduced in Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z. He is one of the Apostles. He is the subordinate of the Megacolony clan's Queen. His host is Sousuke Wakamizu. His original name is Alicides (アルキデス "Arukidesu"), but after being chosen by Gredora as the future king of Megacolony, was given the title of Darkface, Megacolony's strongest warriors. He currently owns Zeroth Dragon of Death Garden, Zoa.

He is designed after a kind of stag beetle. His base form is reminiscent of the Prosopocoilus savagei, while his second form seems to be a mix between his base form and Lamprima adolphinae with the addition of teal wings and a shiny purple carapace, befitting of his scientific prowess and love of mutations and modifications.

His second form, and true name, however, is named after the Dynastes hercules.

Darkface is very eccentric when it comes to his work, the Megacolony clan, or his queen Gredora. He is a perfectionist, thinking the system for Relics that he created is flawless and that no one can break it. As noted by Kamui, Darkface's self-centered overly perfectionist attitude is very reminicent of his host Wakamizu. He is also very loyal to Gredora, being the strongest warrior in his clan and her favorite insect, and will take any insults to her with extreme hostility.

His is known as queen Gredora's favorite insect, to the point where she frequently calls Alicides her son, even though she considers all of her underlings to be her children. She also considers him to be her successor. He was sent as a forerunner to the Apostle's plan to gather intelligence and blueprints from Christopher Lo's lab, using the guise of Sousuke Wakamizu, who was working for Christopher after the events of Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Stride Gate. It is unknown when Darkface Diffrode Sousuke. Despite being an Apostle, he considers Gredora to be the true Zoo Apostle, as he is willing to sacrifice himself to further her plans of dominating the world after Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze's victory.

His Diffride bond with Sousuke Wakamizu is likely weak, as his loss against Toshiki Kai in Turn 6 damaged Sousuke to the point where he could no longer afford to lose a fight, as his next loss would break the Diffride.

He uses a Megacolony deck based on the Darkface archetype.
