Changes: Episode 109: Birth of the Cardfight Club

Birth of the Cardfight Club is the 5th episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Season 3 in the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.

Plot

The Cardfight club is still one member short of being officially recognized, but with word of the student council's disapproval spreading, students are going out of their way to avoid the club. Aichi Sendou repeatedly begs Misaki Tokura to join, but Misaki refuses because Kourin Tatsunagi won't accept her on the grounds that she is not "serious" about the club. The student council announces a deadline for new clubs to officially register, then confronts the Vanguard club when the deadline is almost up. However, Misaki appears and states that she is the club's fifth member. After hearing her reason, Kourin accepts her on the condition that Misaki can defeat Aichi. Misaki and Aichi fight, with Misaki using her new Genesis deck. Misaki is able to defeat Aichi and join the club, but the student council rejects their application because they do not have a faculty advisor. When Aichi asks if there is anything that can be done, the student council president replies that he will only make an exception if the Cardfight club can defeat a team of his choice...
