In the English Dub, when Naoki and Aichi said they don't speak English, It caused confusion to the English speaking viewers since they've seen everyone talk in English before, this is because the anime was translated from the Japanese version.
The match between Ren Suzugamori and Leon Soryu was referenced by Henri Hayao in NX Episode 4: The "Ki" Prince of Fukuhara.
