Episode 19: Showdown! Nova Grappler!

Showdown! Nova Grappler! (決戦!　ノヴァグラップラー!) is the 19th episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Season 1 in the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.

Summary[]

Surprisingly enough, Nagisa steps into the fray as the first fighter of Team Handsome, resulting in Kamui being in a desperate situation as she declares that Kamui has to marry her if she wins. Nagisa proves herself to be an excellent fighter, fighting toe-to-toe with Kamui. Though it seems that the agonizing Kamui can make a reversal using Lion Heat, Nagisa is able to fully negate his attacks and finish him off during the next turn despite Kamui's Heal trigger. However, Kamui declares that Team Q4 hasn't lost yet, so their agreement is still pending - and thus the two teams go into the second round.

He then calls King of Sword (Grade 2/10000 power) and Shining Lady (Grade 0/5000 power). He activates Jack's first skill by Counter Blast (1) to lose its Restraint.

He attack Queen of Hearts (6000 power) with King of Sword (10000 power/1 crit). Nagisa Damage Check reveals King of Sword (Grade 2/No Trigger) and her damage becomes 1. He supports Brutal Jack (11000 power/1 crit) with Shining Lady (5000 power) with Jack's skill by adding 5000 power (total power: 21000 power) and attack Queen of Heart (6000 power).
