Fight Formats are the standardized rulings for both shop and official tournaments, with Clan Fight being the official tournament format for both Japan and English formats. (As of March 30th for EN)

Classic Format
- Clan mixing is allowed, although the skill text still applies.
- A Trigger will only activate if there is a unit of the same clan as that trigger on the field.
- Fighter's Rules (Restriction List) applies.
- This is no longer an official format for tournaments.
Flash Fight
- A deck only consists of 25 cards.
- Only 4 damage is needed to win the game.
- Only 8 trigger units are allowed. (Maximum of 2 Heal Triggers)
- Rules are the same as Classic.
Draft Fight
Clan Fight
- A deck can only consist of units from one clan. (Including G-Units)
- Units from Cray Elemental can be used by any single clan deck, due to its 'CONT: This unit counts as all clans' skill.
- Exception for Royal Paladin decks, that can have up to 4 copies of Blaster Dark.
- Exception for Link Joker decks, that can have up to as many Reverse units as it wants. (Including Dragonic Overlord "The Яe-birth")
- Fighter's Rule applies.
- This is the current standard for Japan and English Format (As of March 30th 2015) and the English Team League.
Extreme Fight
- Clan mixing is allowed.
- Clan restrictions on the skill text is still applied for both formats.
- Any restrictions towards cards in Fighter's Rule does not apply.
- Epitome of Knowledge, Silvest's date restriction does not apply.
- Sub-Clans restriction on card abilities still apply.
G-Regulation
- Only cards belonged to G Series are allowed. Which they are either:
- Carrying a Nation Flag on the bottom right corner
- Is a Cray Elemental unit
- If a card is reprinted as a G Series card (e.g. Tidal Assault), the older cards may still be used regardless carrying a Nation Flag or not.
- Clan mixing is not allowed.
- Fighter's Rule applies.
