Plot

Concerned about the suspicious events surrounding Naoki Ishida's recent cardfight with Aichi Sendou, Toshiki Kai visits Takuto Tatsunagi in search of more information. Takuto explains to Kai that Void intends to control fighters by putting them into a state of "Reverse", before revealing that he himself is under Reverse and has become an agent of Void. Takuto challenges Kai to a fight, planning to make Kai the First Reverse Fighter under Void's control. Kai is blindsided by Takuto's use of the never-before-seen Link Joker clan and its Lock ability, but continues to put up strong resistance...
