Fukuhara High School building
"Fukuhara" is a private school appearing in Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime, as well as in Cardfight!! Vanguard G: NEXT and Cardfight!! Vanguard (V Series Anime). This school is also connected to the Foo Fighter Organization, and it is a prestigious school compared to other schools in Japan. The school is tall enough to require elevators, and they have highly-advanced training rooms used for Cardfight simulation. There is both a middle school and high school division, with the high school division being the most common area shown in the anime.
Vanguard is a major focus at Fukuhara, as the school considers producing skilled cardfighters to be just as important as producing productive members of society. One of the most notable rewards at the school is having a chance at becoming a member of Team Foo Fighter, a nationally-renowned team as well as the school's main team. There are also other high-ranking teams, such as Team Asteroid Brilliant Stars, that skilled students may join. However, each team seems to only be able to have four members at a time. There are entire floors dedicated to Cardfight training.
In Cardfight!! Vanguard G: NEXT Ren still owns Fukuhara but he no longer controls it and gave the responsibility to someone else after he became the branch chief of the United Sanctuary branch. By the time when Shion Kiba enrolls to Fukuhara, the rules and regulations has completely changed just a few years after Ren graduated. The board of directors intended to disband the cardfight club after the school's performance in Vanguard became lackluster after Ren and his teams graduated.
