"Chrono vs Tokoha"is the 17th episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard G and the 213th of the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Tokoha buying two croquette breads from Nishi Bakery for her brother Mamoru, and the two reminisce on how they used to eat croquettes while fighting.
At Card Capital, while Kumi wins against Tsuneto, Tokoha pulls a new G Unit for her deck, Flower Princess of Spring's Beginning, Primavera from a pack of G Booster Set 2: Soaring Ascent of Gale & Blossom. Afterwards, they discuss the regional preliminaries, and Tokoha reveals that she doesn't want to enter. Although Tsuneto begs her to, when he refers to her as "Mamoru's little sister," Tokoha lashes out at him, though she quickly apologizes.
Later, Kumi invites Tokoha to accompany her to a quest for the coming Sunday, which involves a gathering of female Vanguard fighters. Tokoha agrees. The two arrive at Nishi Bakery to buy croquettes, which are sadly out of stock. The same thing happens the next day, and the owner admits that the croquettes were bought by a person with "a hair that looks like chocolate cornet." The name "Choco Chrono" pops up in Tokoha's mind.
On Sunday, Tokoha and Kumi arrive at the girls' gathering quest. When they introduce themselves, the other girls realize Tokoha is the Mamoru's little sister, and all ask her to fight them. Tokoha, disrupted by the fact that they see her as "Mamoru's little sister," dismisses them by offering to set up a tournament at the gathering instead. Afterwards, Tokoha and Kumi head to Nishi Bakery again, where they see Chrono buying the last four croquettes. Tokoha, enraged, begins to argue with Chrono and ends up challenging him to a cardfight over the croquettes.
During the cardfight, Chrono refers to Tokoha as "Mamoru's little sister," which irritates her further. Her emotions clouding her actions, Tokoha misplays on the turn she rides Flower Princess of Spring, Arborea. Although she manages to counter Chrono's Chronoscommand Dragon with her new Stride, she still loses to Chrono's new G Unit, Interdimensional Dragon, Faterider Dragon.
Despite Tokoha's loss, Chrono hands the croquettes to Tokoha by way of apology, and runs off. Upon meeting the now croquette-less Chrono, however, Kamui and Shin anxiously anticipate facing an enraged Misaki, who Shin had promised to get a croquette for...
