"Fake Fight" is the 21st episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard G and the 217th Episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.
Plot[]
The prerequisite of participating in the Regional Preliminaries of the National Vanguard Championship is being "Grade 3". For this, Chrono, accompanied by Tokoha and Shion, joined the mini-championship held at the headquarters of United Sanctuary. However, the tournament became a tragedy because of Team Trick Trick cheating in the tournament and forcing Chrono to judge them using force but then again, they tricked Chrono into being forcefully disqualified and stripped of his points. Shion, on the other hand, forced Team Trick Trick to reveal their trickery, resulting in the tournament manager banning them from any and all tournaments, and as punishment for Chrono's hostile behavior, all of the points he had have been stripped from him, leaving his team not qualified to enter the tournament due to Ibuki's cruelty to Chrono for misjudging fate (as Ibuki thought to him during their last fight).
