G-LD03-002EN

An example of G unit, Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver.

G unit (Gユニット Ji Yunitto) is a type of unit. Unlike other type of units, G units can only be put inside the G deck, separate from the main deck. Since a G deck can only consist of G units, and the card limit in a G deck is 16, you can only have 16 G units maximum in a G deck.

G unit can be identified by the "G Unit" word mentioned to the left of a card's name.

The card borders of G units differ based on their mechanic:

  • Cards with Stride have red borders.
    • The only exception to this is Harmonics Messiah, which was released prior to the mechanic being introduced officially.
  • Cards with G guardian have green borders.

Whenever a G unit that is not in the G zone would be put into another zone (other than by being moved between rear-guard circles), or whenever it is flipped face down while on a circle (except by being deleted), that unit is immediately returned to the G zone face up.
