"Hyakki" (ヒャッキ Hyakki) is a series of cards with "Hyakki" in its card name exclusive to Murakumo clan. The first card was introduced in Booster Set 14: Brilliant Strike, and received its first support in Fighters Collection 2015 Winter.
Playstyle[]
The Hyakki series of cards revolves their gameplay around the first Hyakki unit, Covert Demonic Dragon, Hyakki Vogue "Яeverse" who with his is able to lock two rear-guards to increase the [Power] of up to three units with the same name as himself. Owing to his not being a once per turn skill, Hyakki Vogue benefits from units that can unlock such as Stealth Beast, Metamorfox as they can allow further, optimal use of his skill.
Hyakki would take form as an archetype of it's own in G Standard and would receive a focus on effects that supported massing several Hyakki units to the (RC). Covert Demonic Dragon, Hyakki Zora is regarded as having the same name as Hyakki Vogue "Яeverse" while the G unit, Ambush Demon Stealth Dragon, Hyakki Zora Asougi is able to superior call five units with Hyakki from deck to (RC) and enable them to attack from back row. The supporting rear-guards provide skills that work well with Hyakki Vogue "Яeverse"'s own skills via activating at the end of turn after unlock occurs or even recycling cards from the drop zone back to deck.
The archetype would see a slight re-introduction in V Premium with Covert Demonic Dragon, Hyakki Vogue who is able to perform a stronger combination of the original Hyakki Vogue "Reverses" skills on both (VC) and (RC) where it is now able to increase the [Power] of all units with the same name as itself. The deck would see a more complete focus with the return of Covert Demonic Dragon, Hyakki Vogue "Яeverse" who via effect, is regarded as having the same name as the regular Hyakki Vogue and is able to superior call from deck to (RC) up to three cards with the same name as itself albeit with the requirement that it must lock the same number of rear-guards as the number of cards called. Hyakki Vogue "Яeverse" is able to return to hand a rear-guard for each card that is unlocked at the end phase, reducing the decks vulnerability to control strategies as well as opening up opportunities to ride the subsequent turn and acquire more Accel markers.
