History[]
DivineZ Season 2[]
After the second Deluxe, Jinki and Gui left Japan to travel the world to help spread the game of Vanguard across the world. Returning back to his home office, he fell asleep for a second and had a vision of Destined One of Protection, Alden reaching out to him. Jinki wakes up to find the card in his hand. While confused at the situation, Sybilt appears in a chair before him, telling Jinki that he has been chosen by the Destined One of Protection and attempts to mentally corrupt Jinki. Jinki then was instructed later that night to meet up with his new team, the owners of the Destined One cards in a random building somewhere in the city.
The next day, Jinki and the rest of the Destined One owners were brought to Hakusen to show themselves to the Fated Ones and to announce the Destined Showdown. They then watched Kuon and Suo's fight before leaving for the night.
They all meet up again the next night to watch Kyohma Kurosaki fight Taizo Kiyokura. While Kuon tried to act friendly to Kyohma, Kyohma brushed away the fake friendship facade and told him how all of them are just there to fulfill their desires. They then left again after Kyohma's defeat to Taizo and getting that tomorrows match will be him against Masanori.
The next day, Jinki and Gui investigated a cave nearby the Hakusan mountain that was shut down from an energy surge over 10 years ago. Following them was Masanori who wanted to see what Jinki was up to and commented how he could not trust Sybilt. Jinki stayed composed as they discussed their wishes and the fight tonight. Once at the fight, Jinki and Masanori fought for the round 3 of the Destined Showdown. Masanori talked to Jinki about how Shingi was an old friend of his who would play vanguard with him often, and how he unfortunately lost to Shingi before his death, venting to Jinki about how Jinki would take Shingi's place in his revenge fight. Jinki though does not show any sign of mental corruption and continues to play the game as normal, even after being asked by Masanori if his wish was to revive Shingi. Jinki responds that he was able to move on from Shingi's death and that it is actually Masanori who wanted to use his wish to revive Shingi, reflecting how Zorga's connection to the Taboo coincides with Masanori's latent desire to bring back Shingi, even if through dark methods. Jinki wins with Masanori pulling Jinki in to whisper to him that Jinki never acted different and was never corrupted. Through finding this out, Masanori sets up a meeting between Jinki, Gui, and Gabwelius at one of Masanori's temples. Jinki reveals that because his conciousness can be switch out by Gui's, Gui switched out Jinki's mind and that caused Jinki to avoid being mentally corrupted. He then used this opprotunity to act as a double agent inside the Destined One owners and gives Gabwelius and Gui shared info on Sybilt. They then start to theorize that potentially, Sybilt has been planning this even since the Fated Clash. Gabwelius though retorts that in order for Sybilt to have even gotten into the aummoning to hack it, someone during the Fated Clash had to have been controlled by Sybilt during the tournament to modify the tournament grounds.
