"Magatsu" (マガツ) is a series of Abyss Dragon cards that include "Magatsu" in their card names associated with the Murakumo and Nubatama clans.
The Murakumo members of this archetype were introduced in Booster Set 9: Clash of the Knights & Dragons.
The Nubatama members of this archetype were introduced in V Booster Set 03: Miyaji Academy Cardfight Club.
Playstyle[]
Murakumo variant[]
Serving as the Ride Chain for Murakumo, the Magatsu lines signature skill lies in its ability to superior call two copies of the vanguard when a unit rides over the prior form, allowing for the user to effectively swarm the opponent with attacks early on while conserving hand despite those two copies having to return back to the deck at the end of turn. This early aggression is maintained further via Covert Demonic Dragon, Magatsu Storm's 
where it superior calls two copies of itself to the field at the player's discretion.
Nubatama variant[]
The deck revolves around a mirage playstyle of calling a field of rear-guards then returning them to hand after they have battled. This in turn triggers other skills ranging from power gain to additional attacks from battle phase superior calls.
