Storm is a way to PG without using Sentinels and a decent finisher. Every other G3 is terrible.

Gale is a filter that doesn't steal soul and the only good G2 in the clan.

It looks very strong, but no I haven't touched it at all.

I haven't done nearly enough testing, especially not against a wide variety of matchups. The deck seems really strong, but the lack of another reliable G3 for Blademaster is noticeable enough to be annoying. I'm gonna hold judgement until we get more support revealed.

Because I found that I needed power to finish out games more than trying to extend combos. Artilleryman hits the field once you've pushed them to 5 damage and it makes guarding uncomfortable.

I like the high ceiling and low upkeep for the deck. Just about everything is free (or not contesting with another unit) which really sets it apart from every Accel deck before it. It's hard to remember the deck isn't retire and plus, but I'm liking where it's going.

Huh yeah you're right, so far all the cards don't conflict with each other, and Leopald has a chance to replenish the board in case of retire. 

Any particular units you want to come back?

EDIT: I also like how even though the skills are luck-reliant, none of the outcomes are particularly bad. Maybe inconvenient at times, but not awful

That’s how you get more than just Timmys to play luck effect cards. You make it so any outcome is great.

THEN imagine a different unit with the same ability but also allows you to replace said cards in any order you like...

I can see the cost of such abilities being either a cb1 or sb1..

Scrying? Sounds too much like OTT but it can really help this deck if it gets implemented.

The issue with the Exculpate build is that it trades the consistency of the old RP for a restanding Vanguard. It doesn't matter how many powerful plays your deck can make if it can't perform any of them consistently.

@CFDrewbert it's ultimately a power vs consistency debate. Royal Paladin had the latter in spades before Exculpate became a thing, but was severely lacking the former. The Exculpate build trades a great deal of that consistency for a restanding finisher. At the end of the day, RP needs both.

But that doesn’t mean he sucks. He’s a good card that synergizes with a certain play style

In other words, Exculpate is a flashy and super explosive move when it works but it doesn't work often enough, a similar problem Nova Grappler and Aqua Force. And those two have the benefit of being Accel so that high risk high reward style fits better, on a Force deck not so much.

Okay. Let me rephrase my argument. The Exculpate build sucks. Exculpate himself is a good card, at least on paper.

You're not wrong. The problem with that strategy is that getting off Soul Saver Dragon's skill when you have to

A: Ride it first as opposed to riding it on top of another Grade 3

and

B: Keep Blaster Blade in your soul so that you don't auto-lose after attacking with Exculpate

is slow.
