Warlock hasn't meant "male witch" in most modern fantasy, instead being related to deal based magics, which Fae folk are. See the demonic pacts done by warlocks in most fantasy, the Warlock class in WoW or DnD.
It may not see much limited play, but the games it comes down it will probably win the game for you. If I get 2 tokens out of it, that's worth it enough for me. Also, it's clearly designed for EDH, so comparing it to a standard all-star doesn't seem like the right measure to use.
...for the life of me I cannot imagine any EDH deck that would want that.
I swear I've read the card like 4 times now and have no idea how you think it's any good. I can honestly see it being passed on in even limited depending on the format. 2 tokens means it takes 3 turns for it to be of any value. And that's only if you get the tokens that are good at that current board state...
Whatever else it might be, it's a continuous source of advantage. Something a lot of Boros decks lack. I'm always on the lookout for more enchantments for my Iroas deck that just provide me with free creatures every turn, and this does that quite well. It's a Bitterblossom that comes down two turns later but makes tokens that have slightly better value, and for a lot of casual EDH decks that's more than good enough for a single card.
Sure, you could dismiss legitimate arguments as personal opinions, or you could actually pay attention to the value of free creatures every turn for four mana in a format like EDH where longevity matters.
It could be something like an enchantment with "when this enters the battlefield choose up to one other target player" with a condition that says "you and chosen player win the game" so in 1v1 it's the equivalent of a normal alt win condition but in multiplayer you can use it to create a pseudo-teammate.
The effect on Numemon's Digicore due to the X-Antibody The grime on its body turn into tiny Numemon, which then fall off and float around the main body. Although it goes around flaunting the X-Antibody it holds in its mouth, it is so covered in drool that not a single Digimon would even think of stealing it. Its Special Move is throwing a barrage of poop together with its tiny Numemon all at once (Unchi Rush [Poop Rush]). Despite its appearance, however, it is actually a caring Digimon; it hides a courageous side and will stand against even formidable opponents for the sake of protecting its friends.
They're basically normal digimon given the X-Antibody, a countermeasure to Yggdrasil's attempt to purge the Digital World so it could start over. Some mons naturally have it like Dorumon and Alphamon. Others develop it or are given it like these guys, and have "X" added to their name to denote that.
After Frontier, they tended to only release new series every three years. After Frontier came Savers/Data Squad, a more heroic version of Tamers Hypnos. Then came Xros Wars/Fusion, where various armies waged war to rule the Digital World. Then around the same time they did Applimonsters, an alternate reality where applications manifest, and a six part movie series continuing the Adventure series called tri. that focused on the original eight and new digidestined. It was a rather controversial film series. Currently, the next known anime project is a 20th annivesary film again following the original Adventure series with the original eight.
They have also released numerous video game titles, such as Cyber Slueth, Re:Digitize, and World Order. The next one is a darker entry called Survive.
@Brandy: It's been said a hundred times, but doesn't hurt to say it again, you're a man of good taste :P
Speaking of those, I remember reading that they plan to make another Digimon Story game, it won't be Cyber Sleuth, but seems it will follow the same formula, so we have plenty of Digimon games to look forward to.
@Terry: Funny enough, the recent Neptunia game is 2D, and of course, kids disliked that, but, true to it's own lore where they turn IRL gaming issues into plot, the game is about a 2D vs 3D game war lol Fitting for today's situation.
I just got a taste of my own medicine. I didn't realize how annoying it can be when someone just talks out of their butt and says something that's 50 different levels of wrong. Sincerest of apologies for snapping at you.
I likely could've handled it more concisely on my front as well. Don't take it personally though if I'm still going to go ahead with a wide berth on jumping in on threads you're involved in as I don't feel it will work out best for either of us and honestly, we likely wont see eye to eye.
I was talking to Vere and he showed me in a screencap of a Discord server he shares with you that he interested in having an...I don't remember the word, but he told me it meant bake sale.
I would like access to this Discord if possible so I can more easily share my recipes for said bake sale with both of you. I'm very partial to Lemon Muffins and it would be nice to have them be made by someone else for once.
So then I take it that WD is basically a mix of Sadie and Connie's moms but can't take no for an answer or even knows how to let you speak. The kind that strings you along like a complete puppet and thinks you're a-ok with it all. In other words...
It seems port forwarding is the solution to our problem, but I can't know for sure until we test it. If the problem was only on my end then we should be able to play now, or if it was on your end or both of our ends then you'll need to do the port forwarding too. It's pretty easy but you do need to know your username and password for your router.
Naturally since it's Christmas Eve I wouldn't expect us to try it until next week although if you're not busy I might have the time to try it today.
