I'm still reading it.IMO it's alright, some of the plot twists are interesting, but for the most part it's your generic shonen with the mashima-specific "I fight for my friends" and myriads of fanservice.
also, you're on the wiki discord, right?that's probably a better way to get a hold of us.
The best way to know if you'll like EZ is if you liked Fairy Tail. While i get people consider fairy tail "objectively bad", it hits all the right nostalgia feels for me so i enjoyed EZ but got sidetracked with life and forgot to continue it
Hope he doesn't end up killing off characters only to bring them back in droves.
technically it's not "bringing them back to life" per se,but it has more or less the same result.I won't go into details, but yaa know, the premise of the manga was that there's gonna be a bunch of time travel,so you can probably figure out what I mean.
Nah, I just generally dislike Vanguard's older character designs. Aichi's mum and Esuka are good though (Esuka should be in tier A, IDK why I put her in C). Almost every other series I can think of has much better designs for their older characters.
I don’t really like using online platforms besides CFA and the now deceased TCO. I feel like DM would be something I would like but I’m not sure if I have the time energy for another tcg. Especially one that id consider investing in irl despite only being produced in a country on the other side of the world
Well I mention it as TCO has now been replaced with Untap, and I think now would be the time to try the game, as the game is entering a new block that new players can learn rather easily. So I just think you should give a try to use some of the new stuff that is coming very soon.
well for Ten King(the newest block that truly starts on March 28th for main booster but also the SD release this week), for Fire we got Team Kirifuda(the Jokers and Protag Team, it's Fire Nature, with the Keyword Kirifudash), Team Bomber(Fire Light Beat Jockey deck, focused on it's Keyword Magibomber), and Onifuda Kingdom(the rival villain leader race, a Fire Darkness deck using the new race Demonio, with their new Keyword being Onitime). We will have Fire Water civ deck for this block called the Bikkuri Kingdom, but we have zero knowledge of it. So your choices are Jokers with Samurai Dragon leader, Rabbit Beat Jockey's that are extreme!!, and Japanese Oni's and demons.
I was referring to the Fire Civ teams, also no I am more worried about the Fushigi Kingdom and Fushigiverse, and their Master Ten King aka the BIG BOI!!
(side note: Fushigiverse ("N/CIVILIZATION") (You may put one of your creatures into your mana zone to summon this creature from your graveyard for a cost equal to ("N/CIVILIZATION") minus that creature's cost. It can't cost less than 1.))
I think the middle build has too much CB usage, like most of the time something will go unused, or you'll consistently be at risk of being damage denied and have to work around that.
I also think that the last list which only runs 6 Agents, with 4 of them being Red, might not be great but that's just because it's got the Accel problem of being stomped by a damage trigger ruining a Grade 2 play.
Oh whoops I forgot to put white in the last list. Replacing Sanji with White
And yea was thinking the same or the second build. But I feel like it could work if I replace Sukerock with something. Was thinking about the promo G1 that gains 4k (or Amatsu snipe), or maybe the 7k that puts something to bottom to give 2 things 5k. As a way to recycle arrestors
Honestly I just haven't been that impressed with Sanji. He's not fixing any problem in the deck, since if there's one thing Muras are not having issue with it's column power. Between Yuki, Hyakki, and Jiraiya Hound, the deck isn't lacking power. It feels similar to how Mandala could make better columns than DD, but the deck flourished in it's ability to toolbox, not just focus on random pointlessly high numbers. White Weasel at least spreads the power out to multiple columns, and Jiraiya can impact 3 units. Sanji makes one column good, but it's an accel deck that isn't going for on hit pressure(like a force II clan would care more about). There's a reason we don't run Snipe or the other one. Single column power isn't good in the clan.
Sanji feels like it'd be good in a build that ran the 2 crit RGs rather than anything we've had so far.
In all honesty, I haven't tested any builds with the weasels yet. Spell Hound is definitely a better Million Rat, but that cost... Hmm...
I'm gonna get some flak for this, but I've been testing 4 HYU-GA, 3 Hyakki, 2 Shirayuki, 1 Nyudo. The only trouble I've been having was figuring out the g2 lineup. Sure, weasel rush can hurt a lot, but discarding several cards just to have that weasel rush doesn't endear me to that plan.
I've found you aren't really discarding that much. Mostly I turn dead cards like excess g3s and vanilla draws into aggression, and not really going for the full Weasel field. As long as columns hit 18-20k on g2 accordingly, it's pretty much golden.
It's esp nice when you discard Shirayuki and drop Madam to get her and soul back.
@terry Eh, not so sure. For the first 2 or 3 weeks it's probably gonna be Bermuda, Shpal, and probably PM, just because it's Japan. Western meta is gonna so too diverse to really nail down significant top clans.
I'm just happy the deck is good and playable. I could give a damn about what's topping.
Saw the Baku fight they had against DI. That list tho, not sure what to make of it. 8 G1s seems... well, I’d need to test it I guess. Feel free to post any twitter lists you think at worth looking at cause I’m still figuring out my lists.
Hyakkis were already on the board. Tutored a white. Called a red from hand. Activated Hyakki x2. Gave everything except the red I called 20k. The whites had 6k from their skills and red also got the 6k
Another thing I’m not getting: there’s been a few shop lists that play Hyuga/Baku/Yuki which look virtually the same as Geki/Baku/Yuki lists except that they run a(obviously) Hyuga over Geki and also Jiraiya in the G1 slot. I feel like Hyuga doesn’t do nearly as much in this deck as Geki would
Eh I don’t know if I’d say it’s pretty clear given how many Hyuga lists are coming out. They both do different things but are both really strong
But Baku definitely has more than one bad matchup. GBD steps on its toes pretty hard, SP could care less about reriding, DP doesn’t need to reride to do its thing and fish haven’t even been phased out yet
Not to mention Hyuga can end lives without even needing to reride
Mandala.dek never hit the same numbers and was never even close to being as fast as Hyuga is. I dunno, if we’re talking about meta calls rn, the Hyuga/Hyakki/Yuki build seems more advantageous. And I definitely wouldn’t call the difference “clear”
Did some Baku/Yuki/Geki testing and Baku/Yuki/Hyuga testing
Had a lot more success with Geki + new support. In fact the field wipe was virtually never relevant. But Geki with a central behind him and a field full of arrestors and a Yuki turned 8-10 card hand sizes into 2-3 cards. And just riding or calling Yuki wouldn’t have done the same. Found it particularly effective against DPol, where they just swung hard early, gave enough for the stun, easily survive next turn and then Geki them to deck. Hyuga would have done nothing but prolong the game.
Deck does feel really smooth with the new parts tho. 24k Central on Geki is no joke
I'm honestly shocked at how well Agents work in Premium. Being able to still get massive swings while playing the grade 2 game is just silly. Then you usually finish them off with Victor on first stride if they even manage to survive.
Thanks for the g3 response on the hyakki page, tbh I just dunno what to do right now sense I’ve been so used to running the duel dragon stuff xD, what do you think you might do? Also is your profile pic xion from KH if so that’s incredible
Haha yea we have a lot of options. Personally I think I’ll go 4 Hyakki, 4 Hyuga, and 2 of the Rare G3 that was revealed today. I’ll also have to test how Shirayuki works in the deck. I’d like to save that soul for the G2 RRR dog tho. Only testing will tell.
I don’t see fushimi seeing play. I mean I haven’t seen all the new cards yet so there’s no way of saying for sure, but it doesn’t seem that appealing. Which is a shame cause boi do I like my foil cards jiraiya will definitely see play tho. He works really well in the deck
YEa I had an idea of what the list could be for g2 but tbh it seems a little strange and blah, was thinking something like 4 hound 4 bloody mist and maybe 3 fushimi or central but i dunno if central will be good outside of arrester decks that might be a stupid assumption though
I’d recommend waiting for the full list. There’s a bunch of G2s that we need to see. Also depends on if Shirayuki ends up being played, cause that means we’d play Jakotsu. I probably wouldn’t play Bloody Mist but I think he’s test worthy at this point. The deck is kinda CB heavy rn tho. We’ll have to see I guess
And I mean, Axel can’t be best girl if Xion is best girl ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@sol, it’s not really just 10k tho. The card play really well early game with Hound. Like G2 turns get pretty nasty with the right pieces. And even then they still working later if you didn’t hit them early. Hand filter on ride isn’t bad either
It also depends on when Meomaru gets his English printing. That's a pretty significant factor for the Hyu-Ga deck, since he's a +5k to your board for SB1, which is nuts. I can imagine that builds with and without him would be drastically different.
But then you call Spell Hound. Not saying it's likely since it requires having both of those cards AND another G1 and G2 to ride, but still. I can see it happening.
Oh, yes, dude. I know how much beefy lore is in that damned mobile/browser game, but really I'd rather not anymore. If I'm forced to play a game I don't want to just to understand details that should've been in the main games anyway, then I'd rather not care about the story anymore.
I'm more into the gameplay really. I'm not gonna try an debate with you about the story and lore, because clearly I'm simply not the type of guy to like its structure. I know it can be enjoyable, but not for me.
