For some reason the N64 version of Gex 3 completely changed the Greek Mythology level, and considering the Greek level was the absolute worst level in the game I sure can't complain about that change. I looked it up and the N64 port of the game came out months after the PS1 version so I'm going to assume the devs realized the Greek level is horrible and made a new level to replace it.
Either way this automatically makes Gex 3 on of the rare cases where the N64 version is better than the PS1 version.
The Greek level is the single reason why I could never 100% the game ages ago, but the N64 version of that level I could complete comfortably in about 20 minutes so yeah, the N64 version is indeed better. It can lag really bad occasionally but I can live with it if it means I can 100% the game finally.
I'm honestly quite impressed with the N64 port of Gex 3, N64 ports of PS1 games in general tend to be butchered because Nintendo did the boneheaded decision to use cartridges instead of discs, but Gex 3 has the whole game with little compromise beside the lagging issue.
Disney going bankrupt would require a full blown catastrophe to occur. They make serious bank. They hold way too much influence. Just in general. They also do some crazy shady and horrible things to keep their wealth and make more too. You can like Disney stuff while hating the company. You kind of have to at this point.
PS: Walt Disney wouldn’t be turning over in his grave over this stuff either. He wanted the company to grow as large as possible and did shady stuff too.
I did, but I was one of those "it's different therefore it automatically sucks" kind of person back then so I hated it simple because "ThIs NoT cRaSh!!!" or some other dumb nonsense. Recently I replayed it because why not, it's decently fine but it shouldn't have been a Crash game, they would've been better off making it a different IP instead. Having "Crash" in the title while being so drastically different didn't help people warm up to it.
never liked patformers in general, and mario in particular feels a bit too cheery and colorful for me,it feels kinda childish.I tried playing 2 of the DS games and couldn't get into either of them,I gave up after that.
Odyssey gets nonlinear level design in platformers right. The levels are big but not too huge and they're easy to navigate and dense with enough content that the feeling of emptiness doesn't sink in unless you're going for 100% completion.
Yeah, the game does go overboard with the amount of Moons. I got them all because I have to 100% collectathons. It helped that Mario's mobility is so good that navigating those worlds isn't tedious and there are means of tracking down missing Moons.
IMO Banjo Tooie is the worst in that regard, the worlds in that game are big but they have LESS collectibles than in Kazooie so most of them end up feeling barren and even with warp pads they're confusing to navigate and it's made worse when a lot of missions require back & forth backtracking between worlds.
I was messing with Legacy of Duelist Dragunity again and took a second look at that Speedroid suggestion. Terrortop being limited is what normally makes that not reliable, but as it turns out the entire Dragunity deck and extra deck is WIND so if I open a Taketomborg it's a free special summon with no downsides so I'm actually running 3 Taketomborg 1 Terrortop, I know it's supposed to be the other way around but for Dragunity specifically it does work to get the Greatfly and a level 8 Synchro.
Once the Dragunity Link is added though it won't work anymore since that one needs Winged Beasts or Dragons but for now it's fine enough.
plus taketom borg searches a a speed roid tuner to u could run tri eyed dice or daiko duke for grave effects and lol told ya that engine might work do you use drans ravine and or shrine? cause thier literally foolish burails for any card u need dumped
I use 3 Ravines + Terraforming but not Shrine since Ravine already does its job. I had Stardust /Assault with the Assaullt Mode trap but I cut that for the Speedroids but they'll also be cut after the update because they can't bring the Dragunity Link, though if the game gets the master rule change with said update it probably won't be needed either.
From what I've seen apparently Dragunity with newer support goes the Guardragon 10 minute combo route but I'm not a fan of that idea, I'll stick with the Synchro climbing with generic WIND support since ot needing a Link anymore would make the Synchro climbing a lot more reliable.
u dont have to do the full combo just use elpy n pisy to fetch what u need form the deck or grave use agarpain to cheat out a monster then jus use the others for a link like sayruja or borreload or another link 2
I could try that but I want to keep it mainly Synchro themed. I picked Dragunity because it's the most functional Synchro deck I've seen with the card pool in the game and Link rulings (still can't make Synchron work)
trust mee when that revision comes itll be as strong as it was back when quasar turbo was a thing, and fair i get that sometimes experimenting with engines isnt bad tho before i used a pure heroic deck (xyz) until i decided to use the onomontopia engine to were i can make level 4s n level 8s no so basically i can end my board on photon lord and hope harbinger since i cant use number 86 anymore
Getting a Junk Speeder during the opponent's turn with Junk Connector and the field spell is a good play but then those tuners are left stuck and I don't know what to do with them since Junk Speeder is stuck in the Extra zone meaning I have to Link it for another Junk Connector.but then I'm left with 4 tuners and no nontuners to Synchro with.
I stumbled into an opponent using Dinomist and I remembered I used to be interested in that archetype for about 15 seconds for no reason other than they look like Tachikazes, but then Link ruling came and said "screw Pendulum".
Turns out making these dinos work with Links is rather easy, since you can put 2 of them without Pendulum can you use them for Mistar Boy then Pendulum back those two to Mistar Boy's arrows. I also use cards a spell that returns Pendulums in the Extra deck to hand to get around needing arrows in the first place. The only akward part is that using them for Xyz leaves them stuck in the graveyard.
plus there machines so u can run cyber dragon infinity in the extra deck plus instead of mistar boy u can also run electrumite if its in there, and yea it was because pendulums post mr4 were to overpowered due to the fact that those 2 scales gave you an insane amount of advantage and pluassing where if you had no had and top decked a scale you coul end on a board with vortex dragon, absolute or metoer burst, or jus big beaters to swing at you opponent with
On it's normal form Dinomist is mostly brute force beatdown so it's not hard to figure out why IRL against non AIs it wouldn't be good, but it can do some decent stuff in the game.
The game's update should also update the banlist so Electrumite will be banned so I figured no need to get it if it'll be not allowed soon anways. Xyz with Dinos is kinda awkward so I was looking at some Fusions or Synchros that could go with them.
especially after they edited his apperance the 1st model was freaking horrible and fans were so outraged by it the film literally had to be held from release, redesign the model and reshoot all the scences with the new model in it but still that shows if you complain about something enough people will change it. i for one am glad they changed the model it looks more classic sonic if anything
The Sonic movie is more of an exception than the rule when it comes to internet complaining.
Birds of Prey came out and it seems to be doing poorly. Honestly, I didn't even know the movie existed, but given that it has "Sicide Squad" written all over it it's not htat surprising that it's struggling, I also don't recall seeing any marketing for it.
yea like dc is doing so bad movie wise unlike marvel like dc is doing wayyy better in tv because they have spawned multiple series on their streaming platform and on major cable and jus got approved 4 2 more after thier longest running show just ended rather than movies. i hate to say this but dc needs to take a page from marvel and go the slow route because the mmarvel movies had a slow start but strong finish because endgame made so much money that year alone they basically make back 3 times as much as they paid for that movie but again most of that is the result of good marketing
MCU is doing smaller films for a while which is good for some breathing room given Infinity War and Endgame came almost back to back. I'm also glad they also aren't cramming all their movies into a 4-5 month span like 2018 and 2019
DC has had a few hits with Aquaman and Shazam but they clearly are still scrambling to figure out what to do after ditching Zack Synder's plans of a Justice League trilogy.
well i mean they been doin it for over 10 years plus it makes sens it was shot as 1 movie but got split into 2 parts ( Which was a glorious marketing strategy imo) it made sense since it was like harry potter and the deathly hallows an end to the saga so to speak. so thats why they were kinda rushing since they wanted to finish up if not wed prolly still be waiting for endgame for like 2 more years.
Like i said before dc is doing better in tv Than they are in the movies Arrow alone spawned 5 spin off shows during its run (flash, super girl, legends of tommorow, black lightning, batwoman) and spawned 3 more after ( stargirl, superman and lois, and green arrow and the canaries) so it literally spawned a multi series universe that not alot of shows get to do successfully
They're probably still scarred by the last attempt at a Green Lantern.
The Static Shock cartoon often reminds me of MCU Spider-Man, the rookie teenager trying to impress the adult veterans but he often screws up or the adults think he's too young to be a superhero. I remember one episode where the Joker appears and Static ends up teaming up with Batman.
I never watched Batman Beyond but the concept sounds interesting.
well then again when static came out it was a different time plus on a childrens network it was also very educational to learn about that type of stuff its a childrens show you can watch and also take something away from, like we gave kids alot more credit and maturity than we do nowadays with most shows.
also just a rumor but a character from arrow has been speculated to become a green lantern either as a side character in a new show or in a new series by itself.
Batman beyond was a good series basically its batman passing on the torch to a newer kid in his generation dealing with old villans with a new schitck
but the animated series is freaking hilarious and well scripted i can actually enjoy watching it while having a laugh i swear if some of these tv people can put this effort into making movies for dc we wouldnt have a problem
Harley Quinn in S Squad had the whole crazy persona overexaggerated to the point of being annoying and beyond obvious fanservice she didn't really contribute anything to the plot (assuming that movie had a plot to begin with).
A whole movie based around Harley Quinn doesn't interesting to me since I didn't like the character to begin with.
i like her animated character n i feel like they couldve done her better because she was a psycharitrist that went insane so she could psycho analyze people while being a psycho path herself t=like deres alot you could do there with her personality alone instead of making her a 1 dimensional psychopath
they explain that in the show he jus uses her wen its convienent n leads her on thinking he loves her when she doesn in the first episode of the animated series he ditched her so he could run for bat man n she got arrested n put in arkam for over a year and he never came to break her out the only reason she did was cause poision ivy broke out of prison n took harley with her
A guy at locals helped me make Synchron function better (although it still relies on Junk Connector dying on the opponent's turn) but... I think Stardust Warrior is bugged out? The game never even gives me the prompt to activate its effect even when the opponent clearly special summons something.
Hopefully that protest doesn't need to happen again, or to put simply, the producers don't ignore what the feedback that the design they went with was terrible, and show it to everyone in the world and expect it to be fine.
Online protests tend to be either knee jerk reactions or fabricated drama and let's not open that "politics" can of worms. The Sonic movie is more of a rare case and if you ask me the new design looks kinda cheap, movie likely would've turned out the same with the old design, a small internet crowd would've just mocked it for a few days.
The movie turning out to be decent despite having the same "generic cartoon in the real world" vibe as the Smurfs or Chipmunks movies to me is the real surprise.
Conspiracy theory time: they never intended to use the old look. They already knew people would hate it. But they knew it would be free marketing if they showed that off and then changed it to a design that actually works (that they already had all along).
No proof of this or anything but I feel it isn’t the dumbest idea in the world.
I wonder if I should give the Sonic Adventure games a second chance, first time I tried them I found them unfocused and overbloated, SA1's camera was also significantly worse than Mario 64's and that game is on 6th gen hardware so hardware limiations is less of an excuse for a camera that bad.
@Ota sadly dropped Azur Lane over a year ago as the grind to finish just the daily quests was minimum two hours a day, events were even more exhausting. I miss my boats, I managed to get every SR event ship and a couple rare drop only ones too. Also I suck at danmaku haha
So.......... remember that I said the whole problem with my thief step brother was solved when we called the police, got a new Switch, and put more security in the house?
Yeah, we came back from Locals to find my TV and my father's laptop which he needs for his job both gone. We're calling the police again and this time we're gonna make sure someone is arrested. Now we have evidence of a pattern with the stealing.
Long story short the police said that because they get so many calls every day they have to give priority to cases with more concrete evidence, but they did agree that for another robbery to happen under the exact same circumstances it has to be someone with knowledge about the house and our weekly schedules. Apparently several other houses around the neigbohrhood have also been robbed too.
We suggested that and apparently other neighbors did too but my case is more that a thief knows when and how to break in so we'd have to get a patrol to show up every saturday from 3 PM to 6 PM and that'd be trickier.
I completely missed that Samurai Jack had a final season a few years ago, I remember watching that show ages ago but losing interest because dumb kids only care about the fights.
Samurai Jack is one of those shows that's easier to appreciate when you get older, it's impressive how there's often zero dialogue for minutes but you can still follow what's happening, compared to shows where no one ever stops talking and they have to explain every single attack or power the characters have.
Season 5 was on Adult Swim so they were allowed to have gore and they did but they didn't go overboard with the gore which was a smart move because if there was blood every episode it'd get old fast. The few times Jack does kill humans it's impactful because it's not constant
I also liked that the story didn't end with the obvious "good guy gets the girl" ending, Ashi dying in the middle of the wedding then Jack finding internal peace despite losing his bride is more of a bittersweet ending which fits better the style of the show in general.
Ashi's death makes the episode dedicated to her where she drops the evil outfit for the plant dress sadder in hindsight. Her whole character is quite tragic, she spent her entire life brainwashed by an evil abusive parent to worship a literal Satan and be a mindless killer, she's the only one out of 7 siblings to not die then finds out her entire life and knowledge was a lie, as soon as she's happy Aku corrupts her, and finally she's erased from existence during her wedding.
causee again they defeated aku in the past, so since he was defeated there she cant exist in the future, because of time travel logic and all. plus jack spent years trying to destroy aku and ended up falling for him in a sense so that was pretty ironic lol. plus aku doing self therapy because jack giving him PTSD was hilarious(props to the person who replaced his og voice actor cause he was great).
Now that I finished all the challenge opponents and story duels... when exactly is Legacy of Duelist getting the big update? Because I doubt I'll be picking it up again until then unless it's for playing against someone at locals who also has the game.
There’s no specific date for the release. They only said Spring. There are more details like adding in most of the Vrains cast, stuff from within the last year, and most importantly, revised Master Rule 4!
Good, because there are only THREE Vrains characters and most Vrains archetypes barely work with how little Vrains sets are in the game. Though they'll also update the banlist so some of those Vrains decks will be crippled by it anyways.
Given how easy and fast you get credits in the game I ended up making one deck for each monster style, the rule update will be a big help. I gave myself the rule that each deck can only have the monster style of choice and nothing else (Dragunity can only use Synchros for example) but I have to throw in 3 generic Links into every deck strictly for the arrows, the rule update will remove the need for those.
My older brother showed my father an anime he's watching about seven sins knights or something, around the same time I showed my father Samurai Jack; he got bored of the anime real quick and watched all seasons of Samurai Jack in about a week.
He said Samurai Jack reminds him of an old movie called "The seven Samurai", don't know what that movie is about though.
oh he was watching the seven deadly sins its a good anime but most of the good stuff doesnt happen until later on, plus again shows that were classically made have better writing imo idk why it jus seems better designed than the current stuff we have now. jack had more one shot adventures and constant action, while anime has alot of dialogue its not for alot of people. OH n nerco i totally forgot about that it was like the gurren lagann ending were simon jus ended up becoming a hermit that anime is in my top 10 along with kill la kill. and the movie he was talking about was probably one back in his day.
jaco yes multiverse theory, makes sense but at the same time its kinda redundant because your going back intime and its benefiting the people in that past timeline and not yourself in most cases(since your only stopping changes in their timeline and not your own which really renders going back mute) the only few times were i can say it was useful was in DBZ were future trunks going back in time allowing him to train with his father which, gave him the strength to defeat the andriods, cell, and babadi in his time as well as future knowledge of when said events would happen, and in avengers endgame where going back helped them saved the universe but also left holes to be explored
Samurai Jack is more subtle and likes having more artistic fights, like the time Jack fights a ninja in a completely black & white setting or the time Jack has to evade three archers while completely blindfolded. Seven sins is more typical shonen with big bombastic fights and tons of characters constantly showing up and they always have to explain their powers out loud. My brother also showed me a few episodes of seven sins but it didn't grab me either.
The two episodes where Jack is hunted by the Daughters of Aku in my opinion are much better than any of the episodes from seven sins my brother showed us although to be fair we only watched about 6 or 7 episodes so maybe it does get better later.
Multiverse time travel doesn't quite work for Ashi's, she vanished because the future she came from no longer exists, if were multiverses then she'd still exist despite Jack changing the future.
For Seven Deadly Sins the manga is much better. The first 2 seasons of the anime were kinda rushed(but still enjoyable if you didn't read the manga beforehand),and the 3rd season the aired recently(or is it still airing?I stopped following it) has really subpar animation.
Then again, even the manga became kinda bad in the recent arc,so eh,guess all shonens are doomed to have a bad ending.
My problem with Seven Sins and why both me and my father lost interest is that the protagonists are too overpowered to the point that they defeat whatever enemy the show throws at them with little effort. To be fair I don't know if that problem is fixed later because again we only watched a few episodes and granted in general the protagonist is always going to win with these types of shows but the antagonists should at least give them a run for their money.
The first time Samurai Jack fights the Daughters of Aku they don't just utterly beat Jack into a pulp, they come very close to killing him multiple times forcing Jack to runaway after barely surviving and even then he still was left with a near-fatal injury. That episode showed that while Jack might be able to beat any of them in a one-on-one fight when all attack at once they're too much for him. The second time Jack does defeat all of them but he had to first ambush two of them with death traps before the fight even began and had to take down the rest one by one and even then they still pushed him to the limit where he barely survived again. That to me a more exciting fight than "good guys destroy an entire fortress of bad guys without even noticing".
yea they fixed it later one cause the villans ended up getting strong and it wasnt that the antagonists were underpowered its just for most of the begining they were just fighting grunts, and grunts are never strong to begin with but as later episodes go on the villans get stronger and alil harder to deal with hell meliodas took on a whole squad by himself and lost that fight.
also really i been hearing around about people complaining about meliodas vs escanor but was it really that bad? cause next season they were doin meliodas and elizabeths back story and i was so curious about it i read ahead to learn more about it, and its a romeo and juliet rip off but kinda sweet. or is this just a black clover situation where its a good anime but people keep dissing on it cause of the studio that produces it, or a boruto situation
The episodes that I did watch gave me the feeling that it'd go the Dragon Ball route of making the villains each time bigger and more overpowered, but then the protagonist also becomes more overpowered to beat that villain so the next villain has to be even bigger and so on. Don't know if that's the case though.
I mean, that's how the story is intended to be tho. You're not watching an underdog story of an unexperienced protag getting stronger against all odds, you're watching a story about war-hardened veterans that already had their "underdog protag" stories in the past, and that already got stronger. It's like if a regular shonen had a whole other story for its epilouge. That's what made it stand out IMO:instead of watching people in the middle of their life story you're watching people that arleady reached the end of their story, and you're slowly uncovering everything that they went through to reach that point.
As for the villain thing, yes, that's how all shonens do it,you can't keep readers interested in a battle manga without making the next arc more serious than the previous one, otherwise it's just gonna seem like filler.I wouldn't really say it's a bad thing tho, rather than it just being a shonen trope. It all depends on the writer's ability to make it interesting.
I get that, it's just that it doesn't appeal to me that much hence why I lost interest. I did like One Punch Man (at least the first season) but that's a self-aware parody where the whole point is poking fun at shonen tropes by being an exaggerated shonen.
oh tyrant here https://www.wcostream.com/anime/static-shock this is the site i watch all my stuff on, and i was gonna watch each of the shows in order cause i like the concept of time travel n stuff, plus those shows are science fiction so technically their still science( see what i did there)
Just finished playing an online tourney.I haven't played standard properly in a good bit now,so this was really good practice for getting back in the game.
I used Revonn.Went 3-1 in swiss(lost against Mura, same person who won the tourney) and 3rd place in top cut(lost against aqf mirror).
Basically both losses were due to me drawing poorly. In the mura game I had to G assist for 2 grades, which I've never had to do in any game ever until now,I didn't even know this was a thing you could do.Got my g1 from the assist but didn't get my g3,so I got gradestuck and had to do 2 turns of g2 rush. And the opponent also drew their 1-of shirayuki(even tho it didn't matter, but I found it funny how that was basically rubbing salt in the wound). In the mirror opp went first(which is already huge when playing revonn), and drew their pieces while I drew a bunch of triggers, couldn't even do a proper g2 rush turn.( I think that was literally the only game I played where I couldnt rush, feelsbadman)
This was my first time playing in a tourney with this kind of setup(this is how IRL tourneys usually work, right?).Have to say, playing this many games back-to-back really gets to you,I feel really mentally tired right now lmao.Especially since....
Wheel really adds a lot of combo potential to the deck.I was kinda iffy on him at first, but after playing him today I think he's a staple. The accel 1 plays he allows you to do are just disgusting. If I had a restander(which is basically guaranteed considering how many I run) and wheel I could dip 3 times into the accel 1 boost, and there were even a few games where I had 2 restanders and dipped 4 times.(Accel 1 dipping sauce is best sauce). If that unit you swapped on accel was a tidal, that you can then pass triggers onto and double-dip into those too,it's even more disgusting. The one thing I'll say is that thinking of the optimal board setup when you have to take optimal wheel board positioning into account,on top of your usual attack order stuff, and making sure that for every attack you'll have the right amount of units rested to activate things like the coral or galleas power boost, while making sure you'll have enough cards to call in order to activate revonn is really tiresome,I need to get used to doing these types of setups.I had 2 opponents complaining that I was taking too long when I was trying to figure out how I wanna play out my g3 turn xD
My main reason for joining the tourney was to try to get back into playing standard and get some practice with Revonn, since I didn't really play him that much since he came out.Overall,I got the practice I wanted so I'm satisfied with the results.
I'll be playing post-banlist for the first time this weekend. I predict that I'll be perfectly fine given that none of my decks had any hits on the banlist and Riviere is less annoying even though she's less popular around here.
Narukami is probably the most popular meta deck in my area, as in more than 2 people play it, though I seriously doubt anyone will already have Vanquisher. Sneak Peeks also tend to happen a week late so there's that too.
Normally I don't have that much trouble against GBD at least with Nubatama because I get Protect Gifts and tend to end the turn with the front row open, also with non-Accel decks GBD only goes to 22k which isn't that hard to guard, although in those cases they just ride Detonix Drill to get around it.
Great Nature has Leopald to refill the board after GBD nukes it, but Tachi does has a really bad time since GBD doesn't just nuke all my Sweepers, it also gets rid of any gauges they had.
There isn't much of a Yugioh community around here and I can only afford to invest into one TCG at a time so Legacy has been useful to dabble into YGO without worrying much about the meta or stuff like that.
thts true multiple tcgs is a hard thing to manage and i play 3 so it like i gotta play middle man with wat set im getting next, i took a break from yugioh cause the secondary market is getting ridiculous, like 1 of the new staple cards is $136 a picece and thats jus for 1 card, and im like wow, so im focusing on buddy fight and vg rn, well vg more since altmile is here and ik what im picking up when the td and set comes out
oh yea im glad 1 of my fave archtypes (thunder knights) got support in the recent set that came out so i have more support and consistency, my mains are tk,TE, i was gonna pick up garga but maybe next month
Whenever I play BF I main Ancient World because I like the concept of having one big dude that refuses to die and keeps getting bigger and bigger. I run Max Dragon deck because Zerberos literally says "Screw help I work alone!" and that deck is essentially Duel Sieger done correctly.
oh yea and yaeger blew sieger out of the water but tbf in season 1 if tempest enforcer had 2 souls and its high stats it wouldve been broken cause not many cards could kill it 3 times and get over 12k, which is y sunshine impact was such a staple since it had high power and could get over a wall, mainly saw use in tk tho. Zerb is good but it jus dies to alot of removal mostly vanoty and time dragons, and most cards can get over now easier, and if u like that play style play prisms its basically ancient but more annoying and aggressive. also duel sieger got a revival form where u can run multiple size 3s with him and he gains power and crit for each size 3
its not jus their fault tho its more on bushi road its jus they cant/wont throw a bunch of marketing into overseas merchandising like yugioh did, if they did it would be alot more popular and alot more commonplace, i can go to a walmart which is like a 15min walk from my huse to buy packs, but i have 2 take a 30min bus ride to my card shop to buy packs for my other 2 games
Yeah Vanguard is clearly a bigger priority for Bushi. Surprisingly VG is more popular than YGO over here, it's still a tier 2 TCG with Magic and Pokemon both taking most of the tables at locals but Vanguard is well known over here.
yea somethings do better in other nations than others, plus they care about weiss schwarz too but thats just for otaku fanboys. and buddyfights been stagnent, were getting alot of legacy support which is in no means bad but it seems like in terms of overall progressing bushi seems to be at a standstill at the moment
So like, are they giving Ash a full kanto team for lolz?it seems very unlike the way they used to build teams for him in the past.HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A GALAR STARTER!
Changing subject, but I found out a couple days ago that Duel Masters has a mobile game, which, unlike zero or duel links, actually uses the rules from the irl game(with a few exceptions, but nothing super game-changing).And,like with both those other games,it uses the old-school cards from the beginning of the series, that were also released in english! So ye,right now I'm just reliving my childhood(and look at that,a mobile game that I actually enjoy playing, who would have thunk it?)
ZERO has been decently generous enough that I have a decent enough deck that can be called a deck, but it's very unlikely that I'd get a full complete deck that needs 4 copies of several RRRs because you barely get any materials for crafting.
Just save the gems for 2 copy of RRR and you can craft them when the set arrive and you accidentally pull 2 copy.
From what I see, if you have 3 copy of a card it's far easier to get it in your hand, compared to when you have 2 copies, which unless you have a searcher you will rarely draw it. Idk whether it's just a placebo effect or the game algorithm make it so.
My point is, 3 copy of a card is fine- you don't need to go for 4 rrr if you can't afford it.
II realized that Ride Chains are super helpful for not running important RRR G3s at high copies, you just need to make sure you open 2 copies of the G1, one for riding the other for searching the G3. For Shadow Palain The Dark Dictator also works as a backup boss. I pulled a Blaster Dark and a PBD so now I'm working to build Shadow Paladin, I just need a second PBD just in case and I can get 2 Sentinel Tokens one from grinding Ren and the other from a Sentinel Token, the other two I guess I'll have to pull them.
I've been having way better luck building Shadow Paladin than Royal Paladin, I already got 3 Mac Lirs and while the deck still has sizeable amount of filler and no Nemains it does look a lot like a real deck.
I think it helps that SP's cardpool is much smaller than RP's so playsets get filled quicker and in turn pulling duplicates that turn into crafting material happen more often.
Phantom Blaster Dragon is so much better in ZERO, retiring an interceptor is huge and Fullbau calling itself is a free retire fodder. Badhab Caar is a serviceable Nemain substitute to negate the minus from PBD who itself is also buffed because G0s don't exist in the main deck in ZERO so the only bad call you could get from it would be a PG.
So my brother picked up Death Stranding and showed me some gameplay of it, it was 40 minutes of some Uber Eats guy walking through an empty field while nothing happens....
...walking through an empty field while nothing happens was my least favorite part of Breath of the Wild and even then that game's empty fields didn't take that long to traverse before some landmark with something to do showed up.
@Otakon A common problem I notice with open world games is that they make the worlds big but don't put enough things to do in that big space leaving a lot of empty space. Coincidentally I had a similar problem with Banjo Tooie so that trend began quite early.
Spiderman PS4 had one of the better open worlds I've seen. The world is a city full of people so it doesn't feel barren and Spiderman's fast mobility with webswinging makes it so it never takes long to reach an important location.
Yeah, there is a fast travel option, but people prefer to webswing due to how fun it is lol
Being able to quickly zoom through the map is a nice gimmick to put in a game. One Piece World Seeker has a similar option, but sadly, late game a lot of snipers that just shoot you from the sky when you try to zoom past them lol
Reminds me how back in the day, a game was advertised for having cutscene length.
People do dislike Xenosaga because it's "selling point" are long cutscenes, but I myself love it. When there's cutscenes, there's cutscenes alright, but when there's gameplay, then there's actual gameplay. Based on the youtube video, seems like there is 7 hours of cutscenes, well, Spiderman has 5, so not that bad.
I had to pickup a second copy of Luigi's Mansion 3 because the first one was stolen but at least I can now continue the game.
In a really bizarre way the progression structure of that game reminds me a lot of the first Dead Space, each chapter takes place in a different part of the ship and you begin & start every chapter on the train system traveling form sector to sector, similarly Luigi's Mansion's chapters take place on each floor of the hotel and every chapter begins and ends with Luigi taking the elevator to those floors.
Game is also really good at signal posting how puzzles works without giving blatant hints that spell out the answer. Very early on you have to find a button to open a wall that seemingly is nowhere to be found until you notice the button being reflected on a mirror, that subtly teaches the player that you should always pay close attention to mirrors without a huge "LOOK AT THE MIRRORS!" text wall that a lot of games tend to do.
I did not expect SWERY or Sean Murray to appear lmao. My fave game of the bunch is definitely Baldo by far. I may even get that day one and I usually wait for sales when it comes to indies. Those games go on sale really often. It’s such a pretty game and looks really fun.
Summer in Mara and The Good Life look great too. They seem like neat chill games.
there's that scene where he tries to jump off a cliff and fly,and that's what bagon is known for doing(wanting to fly so bad that it jumps off cliffs. At least it makes his evo into salamence a happy ending)
I get that people don't want to get sick but they're grossly overreacting to extremist levels and making the whole thing seem like it's a bigger deal than it really is. It's not even the first time, I can recall at least 4 times in the past few years where there was some new disease and everyone freaked out for about 2 months.
like i get major stuff being shut down like bushis tournaments and stuff, but people should be able to come to locals and do thier everyday business, like deres only a 3% mortality rate thats nothing compared to the past years, healthcare in most countries should be advanced enpugh were this doesnt become a problem. cause this id peoples day to day lives u messing with they have school and jobs and your really messing with that, and your gonna have to worry about people catching the vius more if their homeless
This is a case of mass hysteria, people are panicking at the idea of the virus existing rather than getting sick in the first place and assuming that getting sick is automatically a death sentence when in reality the death rate isn't nearly as big as the news would make you think.
Thing is it can easily spread, and you won't even notice you have it until it's been a while in your body, in which you probably have infected a lot of others in the meantime.
It's better to be extra cautious rather than too lenient- even if you have high immunity system so the virus doesn't really affect you, the people around you might not, and you don't want to see them die just because you're not careful.
And the idea is those that work at health departments are at full capacity so the less people infected will result in better treatment, not to mention that people with normal disease can't be treated right now because covid patients are prioritized- less covid patients means these people can get treatment chance too.
It isn't overreacting when we already have China and Italy, and these measures are taken so we don't end up like them.
But there's also being too cautious and locking everyone and shutting everything down is going to cause more problems than the virus itself in the long run. It's important to take precautions but closing everything feels like too big of a reaction.
There's no cure for COVID-19, if you get it you're forced to deal with it in the best way your body can handle, that's reason enough to shut everyone inside. Also if you're glossing over it because it "only" has a 3% mortality rate, that's still people dead. Anything higher than 0 means someone's gone forever, and if there's no cure for it, the best hospitals can do is just try and keep people healthy.
It's a global pandemic, things have to change to prevent it from escalating.
The virus is mutating and there's already two strains of it, making creating a vaccine even harder. And because it's a novel coronavirus, our bodies have no natural immunity to it.
Yes, it has a 3% mortality rate, but if I gave you 100 skittles and told you three of them would kill you, you wouldn't eat them. Some people are more likely to die from it than others, my wife included, and ignoring the quarantines is just going to make all of this far worse. Places like Italy have it so bad that they essentially had to decide who lives and who dies because they didn't have enough room in their hospitals to save everyone.
The virus spreads rapidly and most people that have it don't realize they have it initially. The best way to limit the damage and limit the spread and not over burden the hospitals is to limit contact as much as possible. That's how you get it to stop.
What is happening is absolutely neccessary and it's people not taking it seriously that is causing this to last longer.
People with autoimmune disorders like myself are also at high risk. Had to call off of work today because I work at a Taco Bell, and they decided to open up our lobby for to-go orders. I ain't gonna risk infection just cause they wanna make more money.
Yeah, sadly she has a lot of health issues. Something like 14 different conditions? She's more than happy to stay at home during all of this though. My son's annoyed about it because he's a social person, but yeah.
Just random semi related heads up, Gommenasorry if you're ordering stuff online from Amazon in the US or Canada and there's an issue with your orders and you're on hold for like an hour, some of our customer service sites (physical building sites I mean) have already shut down preemptively
Also @Topic, it's not so much about whether or not YOU can handle it, but whether or not you will be the cause of misfortune for somebody else. I had to go to the shop today, so I dressed like clown with mask and gloves (had only lime and yellow colors), which is better then risking my family.
ok totally all fair points, but its jus for the most part people have jobs, i get this a pandemic, but at the same time your gonna have to worry about more people catching corona if they cant pay their bills and get evicted, which is the biggest issue i have. the more things that get shut down the more money people are gonna lose
@Sol: Wish you the best of luck
@Nerco: You must have extremely high patience to do a job like that
because banks and housing are essential businesses becuase people need to be able to access their money, and since people have lack of work thier gonna have to take out loans in order to make ends meet, and housing i mean rental payments go towards utility bills and the people who maintian said utilities, so if that stops those people cant get paid either.
my mom whose a single parent works at a bank, im on sick leave, my sister just lost her job because of lack of work, and both my siblings are home from school for 2 weeks, so basically my mom is paying me and my sisters bills ontop of hers at the moment
Instead of jus cutting it down id think reduced or halved prices would work better because if those payments stop its gonna create a domino effect that jus makes things worse
I pay for my own power bill, as does most renters. The only thing my landlord pays for is for their workers that maintain the outside, and we have well over 100 units in my complex. If something's busted, they'll sometimes come in a fix it but with the virus they've said that the only thing they'll fix is if it's a major emergency, yet they still expect full rent. I don't think they are doing any of the landscaping things right now either. Doesn't make sense.
Just get together with your other tenants and do a good ol’ rent strike. Just have everyone refuse to pay until the landlord agrees to getting paid later. It’s perfectly reasonable given the circumstances.
Honestly, that should be the case with pretty much every bill right now and anyone that’s coming to collect in the next couple of months better be doing so under the circumstances of not collecting means the whole business goes under, quite frankly.
It’s definitely times like these when people show their true colors.
in tht case it does make sense to cut rent payments, not entirely but alteast by half, so tht way your still paying to live in said complex, and its less of strain to pay if for instance the rent at my place is 950(utilites included), paying 475 is alot more easier and i can pocket extra money for important things.
and speaking of what is it with everybody and toilet paper??? i get hand sanitizer cause its disinfectant, but toilet paper, like a good satck of 12-or more should last you a month and some change, like yall act like yall are jus gonna sit at home and use the bathroom 24/7 its ridiculous
And 1 more things anybody got any whacky stories from experiencing the virus? cause my brother showed me on his instagram the other day that people are doing something called the coronavirus challenge, which involves licking toilet seats to see if you get it
yea so even if you dont pay your rent your landlord cant kick you out soo that does help, and ok that makes some amount of sense with the toilet paper, but i would rather stock up on canned food an pasta before tht stuff
and futures idea of the rent strike makes total sense
Similary, our country has been too reliant on exporting and importing goods, so now, we might actually produce stuff for ourselves. We are one of the rare countries that exports all the good stuff, and import all the cheap stuff.

Any life saving procedure or medication should have a cap on its price as people are willing to pay whatever it takes to live and the fact that the US government doesn’t seem to get that is annoying and lethal. It’s great that people are getting their bills slashed but it means nothing if they still can’t afford their medicine, especially after they lost their job (and probably their insurance too, for that matter because the US has the brilliant idea of tying jobs to health insurance too).
I do hate how much people care about the rules/laws when it's in their benefit. My friend's wife went to Canada to live with him, and 2 days before the papers could be verified for her to get proper insurance, she had a cyst rupture and had to be taken to the hospital and stayed overnight. They charged her 10 000 $
Doctors: We have good news, and bad news. Good news. we saved your life. Bad news, we saved your life, so pay up.
Well, saving grace, it were CAD, not USD :P
I know it's a naive way of thinking, but I would love to believe rules are there to settle disputes, rather to follow blindly. Our country has a law that punishes you if you give food to the homeless. It was made to make sure you don't give them rotten food, which is ok, but when one bakery was giving them bread at the end of the day (since it was going to be thrown away anyway), the were charged with a fine. What cements the status of the comedy is, the homeless in question end up taking the food out of the dumpster...
On another note, corona closed all lottery shops... Last time I had to skip my lotter ticket for a similar situation, I lost 5k USD (I always play the same numbers), hadn't missed a ticket since, but if it happens again...
welp, just glad in my country medical care isn't horrifyingly expensive which might be related to how much of the country is below poverty line. You'll rarely pay USD$10-$20 for a visit to the doktah, and unless you've got some major surgery you'll rarely spend over $100 on any procedures too. I mean I'm just middle-class by my country standards but I can still say that's pretty good when looking at how much this kinda stuff costs across the pond
You still see people arguing that it’s the best system in the world and it’s usually due to cherrypicked anecdotes of rich foreigners who are impatient and go to the US to skip the lines of people who need more urgent care than them. I’d rather wait in a long line than not be able to afford to see a doctor. It really isn’t even a smart comparison.
And this isn’t even getting into the blatant lie of “you don’t get a choice in other countries!” You get even less choice here in the US because there are only so many doctors who are in network whereas under universal healthcare, every doctor is in network. And you can actually go to wherever the nearest hospital is (and not just the nearest one that’s in network). Better hope your next medical emergency is in a great location for you! :D
In all seriousness people, friggin’ vote! Why is it that trashing our healthcare system is so popular online and yet it doesn’t seem to translate to actual political action? It’s because the only people voting are the ones think universal healthcare is a radical idea when it’s something most nations have! It’s really frustrating, to say the least.
Young people are voting, or at least there's a precedant for them to do so, the problem is that we've several generations already here who would rather die than help other people, let alone themselves. Not to mention that even though universal healthcare is a good idea, it means less money for people to profit off of, and no one can have that apparently...
totally true its a shame how in other aspects the us seems great but our health care is super ridiculous, which is why people try to get rich and or famous doing something which is how they even afford to live comfortably, doctors should be getting paid alot because of the profession they are in but not at the expense of people, most some people with medical liscense run back alley medical clinics for people who cant afford it and sure they get arrested for doing so because its against the law but at the same time their trying to help people in a system tht doesnt reliably help those people.
I for 1 completely agree thet jobs and isnurance should be seperate things entirely, because if its hard for you to keep said job for certain reasons, you cant get decent health care and even if they do they take a dent out of the total income you earn at my last job before taxes i mae $1,200 but after taxes id have around $780-815, and im still under may parents insurance most peope that worked their made less than i did cause they lost $200 to insurance.
the 1 thing tho that really threw health care was the concept of obamacare while it seemed good in theory it ended up being way more expensive than regular insurance, plus even worse people were forced to get their if they were over the age of 25, which means people that were able to get insurance because they were under the health plans of thier parents no longer benefited from it.
Plus whenever i make a doctors appointment for a check up, is $35 each time i go, and even for therapy which is helping me through alot of personal issues, plus i take medication which is $75-$100 everytime i refill it it and i get a perscription for up 2 6 months, on top of my bi weekly therapy thats like 70 a month. and thats just for me thats not counting my siblings and too a single parent thats really rough
From what I understood about what you are referring to as Obamacare, the biggest thing is that it made it so that insurance companies couldn't deny people healthcare insurance because of "pre-existing conditions". Which was huge, because those people need healthcare coverage the most.
The whole concept of healthcare insurance though is foreign to me.
Everything's free. Ambulances can charge a little over $100 if you call for one and they deem that you could have got to the hospital on your own, but if it is deemed a medical emergency, it's free.
Medicine can cost money, and I guess that's where some "insurance" comes in, as my work benefit plan basically makes all medicine cost less than $20 on average. Sometimes it's even free.
The only thing that isn't covered by our healthcare is dentistry, which I think is BS that Dentists get to be privatized. Even when my benefits covers 80% of a procedure, it can still be really expensive to go to the dentist.
Oh, if we need a Doctor's Note, some Dr's will charge a fee for that. Something like $20 I think?
thts hinestly not bad, but the dentist thing does seem like bs since ud go to the dentist more than the doctor imo, other than that tho doctors notes are free oh and for urgent care they charge you $45 regardless of whats wrong with you
It isn’t because doctors are paid well that healthcare is expensive. It’s because companies know they can charge exorbitant prices for life saving medicine because people are willing to pay anything at all if it means they get to live. All people can live without a smartphone. Some can’t live without insulin. It’s the greedy sociopaths that run the pharmaceutical companies that set the price and then claim “costs of research” (even when they didn’t develop it) while they get paid billions.
I do hope it’s obvious who I voted for without me even saying it lmao.
If you're young (under 40) and healthy it's not worse thn the flu, it's not even always worse than a cold. Which is why people are breaking rules. There are so many. idiot tourists in my area, threatening our wellbeing.
And at the risk of a double post, my area has been pretty good at social distancing. It helps that our officials have been issuing warning after warning. There haven’t even been any deaths yet here. There have been cases, though.
@sol what's your job, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm in Cebu which is a major city which has a notable amount of tourist traffic and i'm at least seeing it feel relatively empty and my workplace has gone full on neatfreak with cleaning every day, hand sanitizer available everywhere, tape on the floor and furniture in various areas marking out social distancing spaces, even our PC workstations are now all one PC apart lol, stretching room. The tourists who are mostly Koreans, Japanese and westerners are pretty much stranded here atm, oof
Uninformed eh, people under 40 have a death rate of 0.2% maybe base your accusations with fact.
symptoms range from barely noticeable to bad cold
And from what I can tell there isn't much data on people with medical problems other than "higher susceptibility" which is scary for someone with a feeble grandfather. You went too far this time Hoshi.
I KNOW THAT! My school has been shut down, my grandfather's life will be in peril if he gets infected, I don't live alone so I know the risk of infection as good or better than almost all of you. I've only been out to buy food for over a week. I might lose my bachelor of science over this.
I'm well aware that the mortality rate is 10-30 times higher than flu, but guess what: best case scenario 20k people will die from influenza every year, and worst case scenario 60k people will die.
The absolute worst thing to do right now is panic, and that's what people are doing because that's what they're being told to do. So stop adding to the problem, the number of new cases was down today which is either a fluke or signs if things to come.
first off lets not touch trump with a 10 foot pole cause thats going to let lost a whole wellstorm of problems.
Secondly its the old lesson of consideration here treat others how you want to be treated, its about being a decent human being and saying hey i may not be sick but tht doesnt mean i cant get other poeple or people around me sick so mybe i should stay home jus t in case i dont kill someone, i admit its the news problem for telling us all the downsides and tragedies and none of the upsides, i saw a cnn new announcement were they wer out side a mile long grocery store and a dude comes out holding 2 stacks of toilet paper walks by and says 'you did this your the reason why were panicking and losing our minds right now because you told us too", and the news people looked and didnt say anything.
Like ik this is a quarentine but look at it this way its a vacation at home, you can catch up on shows you missed, watch something new, idk play the card game oof a certain wiki were on currently on an online simulator at the moment, try to get into a new hobby, im currently teaching myself how to play MTG, i didnt have the time before to learn it now i do, and its pretty fun , cause now i know how to play 5 tcgs now, after magic im thinking about picking up wiess, and im curently catching up on anime i have on backlog. But jus dont go outside unless its absolutely neccessary, jus stay inside, if otaku hermits can do it we can too we just need too channel our inner otaku
Jus dont go outside your acting like staying at home is gonna kill you it really isnt, the way technology is now adays you can interact with people while your at home and not ice a difference at all, its a rough time for some more than others, jus have some common human decency and consideration to stay home until this epidemic is dealt with its been a crazy year so far, first kobe bryant passes away now this, lets all try to keep our sanity and not rip each others heads off please
The downside to worry is reducing the effectiveness of your immune system.
That doesn't mean don't take precautions, it just means that as long as you wash your hands and don't touch your face in public (things people should have already been doing) your chances of getting infected are reduced.
2 of my classes were already offered as online classes so no problem there, one class had no exams so all in person meetings are not online, and one class has no way of adapting since it’s suppose to be a closed note exam.
Ditch day? Field trip? Prom? What are these things? As someone who transferred to their high school in their senior year and was completely incapable of socializing, I know not of these things you speak.
senior field trip is something big 1 of the high schools i went to for your senior trip you got to go to italy for like a week a come back all you needed to do was pay $100, and have completed your communtiy service requirements and you could go, ditch day was a thing were u skipped class to do watever your wanted the absence didnt count against you, and prom is prom, thtas where i ended up getting my first girlfriend.
And hoshi you seem somewhat decently sociable to me i mean you play a tcg so that says alot about your likeability
I didn't have much teen angst, I barely had a teenagehood to begin with, instead I became an antisocial partly from diagonsed psychological disorders and partially from bad experiences with "friends" and even a few relatives most recently including my thief stepbrother.
Most of my teenagehood consisted of highschool except with none of the social parts and "social therapy" that didn't really help at all because it was basically some disintersted dude going "just pretend you're a normal person" for 5 years.
tht jus builds up and makes it worse to the point where u might end up becoming a sociopath down the line, and deng necro your almost at the tipping point of going full otaku, like daru from steins gate, like you jus need to find a collective of like minded individuals who share similar intrests or invest in a hobby, like tcgs for instace which again is something we are all doing on this wiki
The Joker movie has some inaccuracies regarding mental health but one thing it gets right is the part where Arthur writes "The worst part of having a mental illness is people expect you to behave as if you don't".
Obviously my case is nowhere as extreme as the ones depicted in the movie, but it is true that the moment you mention having any "difference" people begin treating you with disdain, I've had many times when I casually or off-handedly mention having social anxiety and the immediate response from people is them immediately becoming more hostile and claiming that I'm trying to depict myself as a helpess victim to get special treatment. Not only is that senseless and in really bad taste from people, but it only reinforces my reluctance to interact with people in the first place.
I've also had several times where people assume I'm a rude selfish jerk because I didn't do eye contact while trying to say hello when eye contact is something I've struggled with forever even when trying to do an active effort to do it.
“...the moment you mention having any ‘difference’ people begin treating you with disdain, I've had many times when I casually or off-handedly mention having social anxiety and the immediate response from people is them immediately becoming more hostile and claiming that I'm trying to depict myself as a helpess victim to get special treatment. Not only is that senseless and in really bad taste from people, but it only reinforces my reluctance to interact with people in the first place.”
That can apply to a lot of things, sadly. Honestly, my response to that is “welcome to being gay lmao”.
Online forums are usually a good substitute for interaction because you don't "talk" to people face to face. Going to locals on weekends also works for me as a form of social interaction because playing a tcg serves as an excuse to be around people.
Though even then my interactions with people at locals usually don't go beyond asking "do you want to play a match?" and playing said match without much conversation and I only know the names of about 3 people there out of about 20 overall in the VG community here.
anfd thats fine as longa s you dont go full neet, plus the real thing is people judge and act negatively to something different, because people fear what they dont understand, But if people decided to take the time to understand said differences instead of freaking out to it, we would be alot better off.
This is jus me talking but i had it rough adjusting socially which is why when i meet someone different than me i try 2 understand them and ask questions instead of jumping to conclusions which is what people need to do more often than not
I already spammed fusions in the Gem Knight deck lol. The link is still there because, I mean, it’s a stratos that can also fusion summon using materials in the GY and banish area. You’d have to be dumb not to.
Also, FYI, the new packs need to be unlocked by going through the Vrains story, which has no dialogue at all.
So I got home to check the update only to find that because I had turned off my Switch instead of putting it in rest mode it's only now starting the download for the update and it'll take a while because my internet is slow.
