They’re all new peeps. Well, minus the crypton vocaloids, of course. Super excited for this though. Never really seen a major idol game that has both girls and boys in it. And it’s doing what BanG Dream does but for Vocaloid music instead. Fingers crossed for a global English release. I expect it due to it being both Miku and from the BanG Dream people in addition to most of the comments being in English.
I also do like the fact that EVERY song will have a human re-dub. Since obviously one of the biggest barrier's for people for Vocaloid's incredibly library of independent artist's music is electronic voices, getting official well-mixed versions will be big.
Also, speaking of in English, uhhhhh all the Crypton Vocaloids happen to have some uhhhhhh English VBs...heheh, the video games are generally about the Japanese songs, but getting some gems like "Last of Me", "I do what I want", or "Deja Vu" into the limelight...blissful.
I meaaaaan, you're into multiple idol franchises and rhythm games, so it's like you've already got a lot.
It's also really annoying to get into Vocaloid once you branch off from Crypton though, tbh. Visibility is really bad, so I can't blame you for not wanting to dive into that mess. Especially since the Monthly Vocaloid/Utau rankings died...such a good way to find new Utau or artists...
I'm like the only one that cares, but I tried out a new spicy Highlander recipe, and it's going pretty okay.
Seems to have an even matchup with a lot of stuff. As expected it "counters" and "stomps" actually nothing.
Weak G3 turns/general early game are super abusable by Claret it seems, but he's a fraction of the meta compared to Nubatama DD spam that made the deck literally unplayable. Probably also doesn't match well against Riviere, but she's more of a G3 spike vs Claret that can go off with adanvtage turn 1/2. Maybe slightly easier.
Regardless, happy with the deck now. I like Highlander and like how it's finally playable. Still kinda tweaking it here and there, though, but I'm getting some feels on the key cards by this point.
