Hi, I just discovered that the category pages could use some love (they currently dont exist - see here ). I'd be happy to rectify this, but would like to know if you have any preferences. I was thinking of creating them, listing out the list of pages in said category that can be done with DPL - this is a feature that needs to be enabled by Fandom (you can contact them here to request it or I can request it to be enabled for you). For your better understanding, an example of what this works like is here (the list of bosses).
So in this example, it lists out all the pages that have "Bosses" category by inputting the following:
category = Bosses
I thought this could be a suitable solution for the nonexistent Category pages. Let me know what you think!
What I mean is that a lot of category pages dont exist. See list I posted above. Some examples: Category:Sentinel (229 items), Category:Touken_Ranbu (152 items), Category:G_guardian (131 items). What is the plan with these and can I help implementing these category pages (even if it's as much info as in the example you linked)?
Hello, I'm The Embraced One or TEO, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Cardfight!! Vanguard Wiki as well as an admin on Sekiro and the Hollow Knight Wikis in my free time. I'm here to act as a liaison between you and Fandom Staff and help you and your community. If you ever have any questions or issues related to the Wiki, its features (editing, templates, layouts, etc.), or anything else, feel free to reach out to me on my message wall and I will be happy to help out!
The only problem I can think of is that the Recent Activity page gets cut short when too many edits (page renaming especially) happen in a short period of time, but I know that's a problem that affects all wikis, not just here.
Yes, unfortunately I dont think there's anything to do about that, however, if you click the "Sell all activity" button right under the "Recent Wiki Activity" title, you will be able to customise your view, for example, if you unselect "File" namespaces from the dropdown, it wont show image uploads at all. If you want to see only text edits, only tick "(Main)" as per my screenshot.
I know this is not the same as just using the Recent Activity page, but perhaps it helps on the busier days?
Actually it was only the recent two. Clicking the link to make the image fullsize resulted in my computer downloading an octet-stream file, and it didn't happen with any other upload by any other person.
