Record of Ragnarok (終末のワルキューレ Shūmatsu no Warukyūre) is a collaboration nation, consisting of characters from the Record of Ragnarok franchise.
Playstyle[]
The nation revolves around the idea of duality, given the series' primary conflict between mankind and the gods. Most of the ridelines primary attacking units are different versions of the main vanguard, giving the aesthetic of dueling that single unit. The nation features cards which primarily require the vanguard to be a specific race, and two corresponding sets of triggers and sentinels solidify this.
Mankind ridelines make use of the keyword Volundr, which allows certain normal units to be played as Arms Order cards and access their abilities.
- Adam focuses on having a large field to gain additional power, as well as to empower all rear guards. To better facilitate this, corresponding support grants certain rear guards protection. Adam's respective Volundr and other support cards allow for greater defensive coverage.
- Lu Bu is a more aggressive rideline able to attack all of the opponent's units at once with extra critical and other added effects.
- Kojiro Sasaki interacts with the bind zone, gaining more effects as the opponent's bind zone grows.
God ridelines are focused on normal orders based on attacks or forms from the anime series, as each of their Grade 3 vanguards allow the player to search their deck for an Order card after resting one of their rear guards. Additionally, each of these ridelines feature a Grade 1 that lets the player add a respective Order card or unit sharing the same name as their vanguard.
- Thor focuses on retiring the opponent's rear guards, as well as gaining power, primarily to the vanguard.
- Poseidon retires its' own rear guards to gain additional power and an extra drive check, with its' support counting as more than one rear guard or able to call themselves from the drop zone.
- Zeus more so emphasizes giving power to rear guards, and is able to restand a "Zeus" rear guard, allowing for additional attacks.
The Brunhilde rideline features a unique playstyle while still using primarily Mankind support, empowering <Man> and <Valkyrie> units while being able to search for and superior call units from the deck or drop zone.
