Rive Shindou is a main character of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Shinemon. He is Mikuru Shindou's brother.
Personality[]
He seems to be extremely supportive and encouraging towards his friends. Shinemon Nitta also considers Rive to be his mentor, as Rive is an amazing cardfighter. However, Rive seems to run away from serious situations, not wanting to deal with much responsibility.
Appearance[]
His outfit is reminiscent of that worn by a parking valet or an event staff member. he wears black slacks and white dress shirt, with a red vest over the shirt. He has green eyes and dark pale blue spiky hair. For some reason, he has a long scar across his face that runs through the bridge of his nose.
Biography[]
He is presumed to have died, as his grave was shown on VR Episode 30: A New Vanguard and his body was nowhere to be found. However near the end of the episode he is shown to be alive.
Etymology[]
- Rive's surname Shindou uses the kanji for "fresh, new" (新) (shin) and "guidance, leading, conduct, usher" (導) (dou).
