Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist (V Series)

"Seven Seas" (七海しちかい Shichikai) is a set of cards that include "Seven Seas" in its card name exclusive to the Granblue clan. The sub-clan would receive its first card with the release of Booster Set 13: Catastrophic Outbreak and would see it's first named support in Fighters Collection 2015 Winter. The sub-clan would be re-introduced for V Premium with the release of V Booster Set 09: Butterfly d'Moonlight.

Playstyle

Led by the Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist, his crew via their skills pay homage to his own break ride skill where a large majority of them are able to revive cards from the drop zone to (RC) for minimal to no cost with the caveat that the superior called rear-guard will return to the drop zone at the end of turn. Other members of Nightmist's crew are able to circumvent this shortcoming via retiring other rear-guards to superior call themselves, either at no cost such as with Nightcrow or to conduct additional attacks as with Slash Shade and Prisoner Dragon. These qualities distinguish the Seven Seas crew as a Granblue deck that is very resourceful and adept at swarming the field aggressively from the onset of the game, leading to strong opportunities to rush an opponent outright.

In addition, the sub-clan pays particular attention to Nightmist's status as a break ride with several members being able to perform a ride outside of just the hand or ride phase. Seven Seas Sage, Plegeton is able to superior ride from the drop zone at the beginning of ride phase, ensuring that the player is able to trigger Nigtmist's break ride skill even when lacking a grade 3 in hand while the G unit, Seven Seas Dignitary, Nightzeolla is able to send itself to the G zone face up after attacking and select a grade 3 in drop zone to superior ride in [Rest] , allowing for an opportunity to trigger Nightmist's break ride skill during the battle phase.

The sub-clan would return in V Premium with it's playstyle focused entirely on the placement of Treasures markers on the field that only members of the archetype are able to generate. All members of the Seven Seas crew possess an [AUTO] ability where should their attacks land their mark on an opponent's unit, the player is able to place a Treasures marker on any (VC) or (RC) on their field that lacks the marker. The amount of Treasures present on the field influences the strength of Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist's skill where depending on the number present, he confers upon all members of the Seven Seas crew the ability to attack from back row, increase their [Power]  and in the scenario where six Treasures are present, [Stand]  all Seven Seas rear-guards at the conclusion of his own attack from (VC). The crew members of Seven Seas either feature skills that revive from drop zone to (RC) other Seven Seas members or skills that are active when the (RC) they're present on features a marker, rendering the skill active on circles where a Treasures marker or Protect II gift is present.
