Shinobu Kajita is a character introduced in Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress. Initially a member of Team Daybreak, he left the team after overDress Season 2.
Personality[]
When Shinobu first appeared, he appeared to be a quiet and shy kid. After revealing his true colors, he is ultimately revealed simply as a brat. He sees Vanguard as a way to prove how strong he is. He deems that only the strong can survive in this world. However, it is seen that he panics quite easily, some examples can be when he's about to lose against Megumi and Yu-yu. Tohya and Megumi even commented on the fact that he acts somewhat as his avatar, Greedon.
History[]
Shinobu first appears in the episode 10: Fluttering Banner, posing as a member of team that was attacked and had their banner destroyed. However, in the following episode, Shinobu's deception is revealed and Shino defeats Yu-yu Kondo. In the 18th episode of the next season, Gluttony, Shinobu is revealed to have temporarily joined Team Daybreak, but is defeated by Megumi Okura as the second match of part the gauntlet to end the conflict between Daybreak and Team Blackout. Shinobu does not appear in Season 1 of Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress. In Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress Season 2, Shinobu joins the Uniformers, but is opposed to Gui's goal of making all Vanguard players play the same way. In Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez episode 7, Shinobu challenges Masanori Iseki to a game, but is defeated by the Divine Skill of Masanori's new Vangaurd, Zorga Nadir.

Shinobu uses a Dark States deck based around his avatar, Avaricious Demonic Dragon, Greedon. Because of Greedon's ablity, Shinobu needs seven damage to be defeated. Greedon is also able to Stand itself after attacking by Soul Blasting 2 and retiring four rearguards. If Shinobu has ten or more cards in his Soul after Standing Greedon in this way, Greedon gets +15000 Power until end of turn.
