"Spino" (スピノ Supino) is a series of cards that include "Spino" in its card name primarily in the Tachikaze clan. The first card was introduced in Booster Set 11: Seal Dragons Unleashed, and later received its first support in G Technical Booster 1: The RECKLESS RAMPAGE.
Playstyle[]
Introduced as an archetype within the Ancient Dragon sub-clan in G Standard, the playstyle of the deck revolves around Spinodriver's cross ride, Ancient Dragon, Spinocommando who when placed on (VC) gains the ability to revive any Ancient Dragon rear-guard that is retired at the cost of a counterblast. This skill can be used to mitigate the cost of Spinodriver's breakride skill as well as be used aggressively with Ancient Dragon rear-guards that retire their allies during battle to create a large quantity of additional attacks without any Generation Break restrictions. At the end of the player's turn, Spinocommando allows for the player to ride a grade 3 from soul to (VC) and then return itself from soul back to the player's hand, opening an opportunity for the player to perform a breakride on the subsequent turn.
