"Tachikaze" (たちかぜ) is a clan from the Dragon Empire nation. The clan is themed around dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures and beings augmented with mechanical or artillery equipment. It is the elite ground assault troops of the dragon nation.
Playstyle
Tachikaze focuses on cannibalizing its own rear-guards to empower its other units. Many of their effects require retiring one or more rear guards as a cost, often to gain large amounts of power, and several cards have effects that activate when they are retired during their owner's turn in order to turn those retires into more resources or recycle the retired rear guards to use them again. The clan also introduced a new mechanic, known as Equip Gauge. Tachikaze's version, known as the "Armed Equip Gauge" (
Tachikaze has the Accel Imaginary Gift, which allows them to have more rear guards to arm and attack with.
