Episode 104: Where the Wind Blows (風のゆくえ) is the 39th and final episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Season 2 in the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.
Plot
After Leon Soryu crossrides Blue Storm Supreme Dragon, Glory Maelstrom, he attacks Aichi Sendou's vanguard, Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel. Aichi guards, but Leon drive checks a trigger and the attack hits, causing Aichi to take his 6th damage. However, the damage card is a heal trigger and Aichi survives. Aichi crossrides Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel and defeats Leon. With Leon defeated, Void is forced to withdraw. Takuto Tatsunagi opens a portal to Planet Cray. Aichi sends Blond Ezel through the portal to Cray, where he turns the tide in the battle against Void. Ezel then rescues Blaster Blade from being sealed. Void attempts to stab Ezel in the back, but Glory Maelstrom saves him, with Leon supporting Aichi at the portal. With the Royal Paladins restored, Aichi struggles to choose between his old friends and the Gold Paladins he has fought alongside.
The next day, the Final Stage of the VF Circuit takes place and Team Q4 are the winners. With the Circuit over, life returns to normal, except that Aichi is now a celebrity among cardfighters. Finally, Aichi is seen using Blaster Blade in his vanguard circle, whose appearance is different, since he is now Gold Paladin.
