Cherry Blossom Memories (花よりファイト♪ Hana-yori Faito, literally Fight Over Flowers♪) is a season event in Cardfight!! Vanguard ZERO, first introduced in April 2020.

This event involves moving the My Room - Kamui Katsuragi (SP) across a board game using dice acquired from Missions, Daily Logins, and by viewing the Model Room.
- There are also free guaranteed 3, 2, and 1 dice per day (which can be bought with gems if you want more).
- The first space on the board features a roulette which could allow the multiplication of gained Flower Viewing Dango by x3 or x5.
- The other spaces on the board either give the player Nova Grappler cards, Flower Viewing Dango, or allows them to move an extra space forward.
- One space also allowed for a fight against an EASY CPU player. If you won, you would unlock quick fight for that character for the rest of event. Rewards would be provided for milestone laps around the board.
- Defeating the CPU allows for the roulette to enter "Fever mode", which fills the roulette with x3 and x5 slots.
The cards gained from this event would not go towards the players collection, instead they allow the progression of the story and are used for a rental deck to play against the event boss, a CPU Rekka (Flower Viewing Ver.). Once all cards are acquired, their spaces would be replaced by Flower Viewing Dango. There are three rounds, with the difficulty of the boss increasing after each round.
The Model Room introduced in this event is a room similar to the My Room. It displays My Room items and characters serving as a model to how they would look in a player's My Room. Entering the Model Room daily rewards players with dice.
Flower Viewing Dango can be exchanged for select items at the exchange store.

Story[]
Kamui is seen to be nervous. When Emi asks if he wants to fight, he replies with an invitation to go for hanami.
Emi and Mai agrees to it, to his delight, but it turns out Aichi and Misaki can't make it. Misaki suggests that sometimes it's good for people with the same age to hang out together, cheering them.
The promised day arrives, with the five of them (Kamui, Eiji, Reiji, Emi, Mai) meet up together at the park. Reiji points out that at that day Ultra Rare will be performing in a nearby stage.
Kamui then said in order to not be separated apart due to many people, he will "encort" the girls (Emi points out that the correct term is escort), but after a while, they found out Kamui is missing.
A lost Kamui then overhears two people arguing, and it turns out to be the Ultra Rares.
Kamui told them that he needs to find the lost Emi and friends (though Rekka points out he is the lost child), and Rekka volunteers to help.
After some argument, Rekka is allowed to go, but Kamui has to be her bodyguard. Kamui refused, but Rekka said he just have to pretend to be her bodyguard, and two heads are better than one, so he accept.
A disguised Rekka and Kamui then starts searching at the park, though Rekka mostly pull him around to enjoy herself. It's not long before both of them argue and Rekka's cover was blown and she gets swarmed by fans.
Even though Rekka deals with the situation quite well due to her experiences, Kamui decides to fulfill his role as bodyguard and challenge the fans to fight, even blowing off his own cover by pronouncing his identity as national tournament winner.
Luckiy the fans thought it was just a publicity stunt and there are cameras nearby, so they just went along with the flow.
After defeating the fans, Rekka points out that a bodyguard that protects by cardfighting is never heard of, and complimenting that Kamui has become stronger than back then.
Shortly afterwards, they rendezvous with Emi- who manages to figure out Kamui's disguise in an instant- and the others. They point out that Kamui is the lost child when he claims otherwise.
When Emi asks about Rekka, Kamui is reluctant to tell them her identity due to the undercover, though Rekka, knowing that her cover will be blown sooner or later, challenges Kamui for a cardfight. She taunts him by quoting his title as national champion.
As the others root for Kamui, he accepts the challenge, in which he won.
Rekka got a call from Kourin soon afterwards, and she has to go back to be an idol. When Kamui comments on being an idol is hard, she replies that she does it because she likes it.
After Rekka left, Kamui is showered with praises... by none other than Gouki. Apparently he watched the whole fight.
Though, with Gouki being there means Nagisa is there too. As Nagisa clings to Kamui, he screamed that he just wanted to spend the day with Emi...
Meanwhile, Rekka is back at Cardshop PSY. She tells the other two that she enjoyed the sakura, dango and hanami there. When questioned, she replies that Kamui is a failed bodyguard, though he does make a good cardfight opponent.
Kourin laugh at her response out of amusement, which Rekka points out (she denies it). Rekka accuse Kourin of treating her like a fool, in which the latter denies too- as Suiko laughs in amusement at the conversation.
