Tomari Seto is a character introduced in Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress. She is a policewoman at day and member of Team Blackout at night, where she acts as the famous Screaming Fight MC. She is familiar with almost every card and their effects, self-proclaims to be "eternally 17 years old".

Name[]

Tomari's surname Seto means "strait, channel" (瀬戸).
- It can also mean "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se) and "door" (戸) (to) separately.

Appearance[]

Tomari has brown, waist length hair and green eyes. She wears a crop button up shirt and black shorts with a black belt and white buckle. She also wears black heels.

Personality[]

Tomari is very outgoing and loud woman, which is fitting, seeing as she provides commentary for most of the fights that happen at Wonder Park. She claims that she is "eternally 17 years old", despite the fact that it is extremely implausible that a 17 year old girl would be a police officer. Although most of the time, she has a fairly laid-back personality, is capable of becoming serious when the situation calls for it, for example when she fights Masanori Iseki as part of the showdown between Team Blackout and Team Daybreak. Many of the younger members of Blackout, such as Yu-yu, Megumi, and Urara see her as an older sister. However, Tomari occasionally causes embarrassment for Megumi, such as when she unexpectedly showed up at Megumi's school when Megumi was sulking about Danji not remembering anniversary of the day Megumi and Danji met. Tomari and Zakusa Ishigame are officially a couple.

History[]

At some point before Zakusa joined Daybreak, Tomari arrested him due to his delinquency. Tomari brought Zakusa to Wonder Park and taught him how to play Vanguard. At some point later, the two of them started dating.

Deck[]

Tomari uses a Brandt Gate deck focused on the Set Order "Galaxy Central Prison, Galactolus." This Order, when paired with the skills of her various Aurora Battle Princess units, allows her to imprison her opponent's rearguards and to force her opponents to pay additional costs to recover them.
