Blaster Blade (or Shining Swordsman of the Holy Land in Japanese) was one of the first two Trial Deck released in both Japanese and English. It was released alongside Trial Deck 2: Dragonic Overlord

Deck Tip: for intro player
The deck main foucs and winning imagine is over powering your opponent vanguard with your main vanguard Crimson Butterfly, Brigitte, along with the assitance of bors as a side rear guard pushing for over 20k columns. Solitary Knight, Gancelot, main use in this trial deck is two fold. One is being able to search a blaster blade, second is to go back into the deck to give another grade three for crimson butterfly to check. Knight of the Harp, Tristan, his main value is the possible of drive checking a grade three or a trigger to give himself another source of power, while not necessery for turn two but considerably more useful should you be unable to ride up a grade for a couple of turns. It should be also noted that the deck can be aggressive early game with the high grade 1 count, dealing 3 damage on turn one and by turn two ride Tristan and attack forcing your opponent to response with sheild thus reducing his hand and allowing you to have a larger hand than your opponent thus letting Randolf getting a power boost and boosted by an 8k marron and you can force minium 15k guard if your opponent vanguard is 9k or less. Blaster blade is the deck sole source of removal this deck as it allow you to remove units that you dont wish for your opponent to keep for long without having to force on attack with. Blaster Blade as a rearguard boosted by wingal and power up by a starlight unicorn can allow blaster blade column to hit for 21k thus requiring miniumal 15k guard from 11k or less vanguard or rearguard. Knight of Rose, Morgana, is mainly used for early aggression up until your opponent rides a grade three as the card will lose effective as its ability more costly to use.
