Cardfight!! Vanguard Wiki

Hello and welcome to my first blog, since it is my first one I may as well write about my favourite clan in the game, Gold Paladin.

Please keep in mind that this will be my build Pre VG-V-BT03, I will be writing a second blog once all of the Gold Paladin support has been revealed in that booster set.

So without further a do lets get started, STAND UP MY VANGUARD!!!!!

8x Grade 3's:

4x Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel - Hearing the cry of the lion cub I rush to the front lines, Stand up my avatar!!!! (ride chant subject to change, I am still working on it :P)

My main ace of the deck so of course Ezel is in at 4, if you don't pull the superior ride off I feel it can be a bit of a blunt sword, but we now know that will not be a problem in future booster sets.

4x Battlefield Storm, Sagramore - I feel Sagramore is the best back up to Ezel at this stage of our support, he draws a card, calls a unit to the RG and gains a little bit of power as a reward for his efforts, White Hare in the Moon's Shadow, Pellinore uses to much soul and really needs the deck focused around himself and Mach Slash Dragon does not have a gift marker.

14x Grade 2's:

4x Knight of Superior Skills, Beaumains - A key piece to the superior ride and he helps search the last piece of the puzzle, he also gains power when placed by another cards ability, all in all a very reliable ally on the battlefield.

4x Player of The Holy Bow, Viviane - She helps superior call a unit from the top of the deck which is a rarity at this moment in time for Gold Paladin, she also (like Sagramore) gains some power for her efforts on the turn you use her skill, meaning she can hit most things without boost further helping with the rush tactics employed by ACCEL clans.

3x Lop Ear Shooter - I have gone all out offence with my grade 2 line up and this ally allows us to get an additional attack off, he could be the difference between achieving victory or just falling short, he is 24K on the ACCEL circle during the turn you use his skill, Lop ear is that push for game card your opponent will not see coming.

2x Warring Brave Knight, Tornus - a simple but yet effective card, Gold paladin are heavy on there resources, especially the soul, he turns a weakness into a strength as he gains power for having 1 or less cards in soul, place him on the ACCEL circle when your soul is empty and then you will see his real strength, the downside to this unit is he is dead early game unless you can empty the soul with haste.

12x Grade 1's:

4x Knight of Elegant Skills, Gareth - Another key part of the Superior ride for Ezel, on the turn he is placed via another ability, you can Counter Blast 1 and he gains 10k power, it isn't the greatest skill in the game, but one that will be useful and help with that all important push for game.

4x Evil Slaying Swordsman, Haugun - This card is pretty good to say the least, he is active early game and helps to call units who need placing through other cards to trigger there skills such as Dindrane and Gareth.

4x Listener of Truth, Dindrane - 4 may seem a little excessive but I am increasing my chances of seeing it on a superior call, especially since most of them check the top 1 or call a unit from hand, add that to the fact Gold Paladin don't have the best options when it comes to there Grade 1 line up until there next lot of support, you see why I have chosen to max out on Dindrane.

17x Grade 0's:

1x Crimson Lion Cub, Kryph (First Vanguard)

4x Flame of Victory (Critical Trigger)

2x Azure Sky Knight, Shanak (Critical Trigger)

4x Dantegal (Front Trigger)

1x Knight of Hard Fight, Nalnes (Front Trigger)

4x Halo Shield Mark (Sentinel/Draw Trigger)

1x Farsight Courier (Draw Trigger)

I saw my friend run this trigger line up (or something similar) in his build of Nubatama and it has inspired me to go for the same aggressive trigger line up for this deck.

ACCEL decks are meant to be pure aggression, with the only defence that we need being draw power, especially in this deck as we need cards in hand to superior call them most of the time.

The combination of Critical triggers, Front triggers and the amount of attacks you should be able to pull off will have your opponent feeling so overwhelmed, it will be hard for them to keep there composure.

So there we have it ladies and gents, my Gold Paladin deck pre Miyaji Academy CF Club, please feel free to leave your constructive criticisms in the comments down below and a massive thank you to those of you who gave it a read.

Until I can't sleep again, Warrior of Salvation, Ezel
